Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wasnt that bad, liked it even, not for full price for sure and people got ripped off with seasonpass than get just some skings for MP. Deserved all the negative reviews but if u get it under 10€ its more than ok for Campaign.
The fact their still selling this game after abandoning it so fast is shameless. The game will forever now be a husk left rotting under the shadow of Era One. The only thing that stands out about this game other then its poor game play feel is the fact I cant tell if this is one of those games that hates beautiful women or not- On one hand the male characters all look perfectly normal, and some times the female characters look ok... But on the other hand most of the time they look so bad, so misshaped I can hardly look at them, I cant tell if its the long hair being placed badly or perhaps the lips size and facial construction or other issues or perhaps all in combination but something is very wrong with how they look, if I was to compare them I would say they both look like badly made Clones and the fact the male characters all look fine make it feel intentional. I guess the base way I can put it is they feel like they fall deep into the uncanny valley, almost human... nearly... but you still get that vibe somthing is just not right.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Definition of missed potential. There is stuff to like here: the models, the systems, and the game itself looks cool. The first few hours are super enjoyable. However, the game is buggy—ships randomly disappearing, not following their commands, and other things really make the systems your worst enemy. Also, for almost a 20-year jump, I expected more modern features. It also runs like piss, which is weird because it doesn't seem to me like it's boundary-pushing in any way. But by far the worst part of the game is the main story. The story here feels like a B-plot that's found on text logs in other games; genuinely nothing interesting happens. At least it's only about 8 hours. It's not all bad; the roguelike mode is fun for a few hours. The game looks good, too. But I come back to the wait—so much time for this? Not worth it; literally any other game in the franchise is better. Also, it’s a real shame they aren’t keeping the game alive and fixing the non-core issues. Not recommended.
This game had such a great potential yet was totally wasted by the campaign story. Whatever theme the writer wants to convey, logic and consistency should be the priority. There are so many things disconnected in this story and with its prequels. The whole plot barely make any sense. The cutscenes are assorted meeting between 4 people and 50% of it is a face with closed eyes. I understand the author wanted to focus on character development this time. But even high school students know the best way of doing this is by events and conflicts instead of teaching on your face. Now, the whole story is saturated with the author’s self-indulgent whining and overly forced conversation bombardments. The game engine, graphics, ship design and music are very promising. I don't know if anyone could make mods to save some dignity for this franchise. HWs deserve better.
I cant believe how sad, underwhelmed and generally gutted i felt completing this game. The killed it...they actually murdered a historical and beautiful game. I actually could cry after this insanley horrible experiance
Having played Homeworld 1 and 2 back when they were released and then the remastered collection, it's difficult to recommend Homeworld 3. I bought it on release day and I quit playing it shortly after, by mission 5 I was annoyed, reason was mainly due to the abysmal ship combat, and the pathfinding was terrible. I then decided to play it again after learning it received its final patch, and this time I managed to finish it. With the game fully patched the ship combat and pathfinding was improved somewhat, but the game is still let down by its map design and small map sizes. Also the idea of having large structures in space may have seemed like a cool idea but its execution was lackluster, the large structures or debris often ended up being more annoying than anything else by interfering with ship movement i.e. ships would often get confused while trying to navigate around the object. As for the story, all I can say is there is one. It's forgettable. Ultimately, if you want a memorable Homeworld experience get the remastered collection instead.
One of the worst storyline i have ever witnessed, indie developers come up with better idea , hell, even prompt generated content could give you more. But the true horrendus part comes with the cutscenes, my lord, if you tought ME:Andromeda was bad , take a voyage in this landscape of true horrific and plastic facial expressions, with Lord Farquad big heads models, generic uniforms , dull and plain visuals, full modeled feet suit. The game in itself it's not THAT bad, it's not good either, but it's playable if you don't have your standard to, let's say , Homeworld 2 , Starcraft 2, AOE (any) , Grey Goo, Universe at War Shift command works half the time, HUD is a mess (with dropdown labels to see what is happening), they tried to fix it slapping a pause button, but if the units can't navigate correctly or navigate at all because they have to spasm left and right it's of no use. Wants to be cool and hip, a cinematic experience with bright sci-fi explosion, but fails to deliver a memorable yet enjoyable RTS experience. Still, if you can get it under 5 euro is still something you can get a couple laughs off, and maybe a nice game or two. Edit: Remember to start the campaign on hard, from the tutorial. else you won't get the achievement , since the campaign menu doesn't let you see at what difficulty you finished the mission, and tbh the achi it's not worth it.
I've seen all the bad reviews and thought , maybe its not so bad. Its worse. The battles are a colorful mess, no sense of positioning or strategy, just one blob after another. Most egregious was a defense mission. Instead of clever tactics, the enemy just B-lines to their target, while happily taking fire. In the meantime my units run all over the place, seemingly ignoring orders, happily running into enemy fire. Just play HW1,cataclysm, or HW2
这不是Homeworld,这是气垫船战争。剧情也是不知所云。感觉像是童年白月光变成了大屁股卡戴珊
It's just okay
Homeworld 3 was one of my most anticipated games. When it came out and the reception was average at best, I held off buying it for quite a while. Thanks to the summer sale I could buy it very cheap. So you can imagine that I had enough time to lower my expectations and even if the game sucked, I wouldn't be bothered by it too much. That being said, the game is average in the departments that made Homeworld unique. No longer you're part of a mythical race seeking it's way back home - you've become a Human Protagonist. No longer the writing is mysterious and philosophical - here's a generic sci-fi story you've read before a number of times. No longer you need to strategize your ship formation - mass Ion & Assault Frigates tear through everything on auto-aggressive mode. So why is this a positive rating? Well, it still reminded me of Homeworld. It reminded me why I love the series so much that I bought the remastered version again on Steam. The graphics are very impressive, being one of the best looking space RTS games ever. I sincerely liked the music as well, maybe it didn't hit on the same high notes as Homeworld 1 did, but I enjoyed it really much. Even if it was dumbed down, scaled back (level-wise), I still had fun with it, although as my first paragraph mentioned - the expectations were quite low. I'd say, it's worth a buy for $15 or lower. My hope is we'll see Homeworld 4 someday and the lessons learned with part 3 will show.
