Home Improvisation: Furniture Sandbox

[strike]Controls are crap. No tutorial. You can pick up and move parts around, but only in the exact orientation they're currently in--that's about it. There appears to be no way to rotate parts. I've been trying to use the couch and stairs to spin my parts, but it gets old and frustrating really fast. Sure, it *looks* like a really fun physics sandbox game, and that's what I thought, but it's just an exercise in futility. Don't waste your time.[/strike] 2 hour update: Okay, so I came back to this one to give it another shot. This time around, I did in fact figure out the controls (mouse & WASD to move, arrow keys to rotate--although I wish you could swap the WASD to rotate instead, but I digress) and armed with this new knowledge, I am forced to change my recommendation from No to Yes. It can still be a little frustrating to get the rotation correct due to only rotating along 2 axis (unless there is a way to rotate on the third and I haven't found it yet) but it has become a fun game to play. Not the best, but not nearly as bad as I first thought.

Pretty fun

I want to like it but the controls are... just terrible. And not in a fun way like Surgeon Simulator or other games where that's the point, it's just annoying trying to do anything. VR is even worse, everything is so unintuitive. Overall the game just feels incomplete, as far as I can tell it's released so I don't think it'll get better but since I only spent like $2 on it I guess I'll just keep it and pray it gets updated at some point, however that's extremely doubtful.

This fun little game is great for parties and people who haven't had much VR experience. The asymmetrical multiplayer makes for some pretty silly gameplay, and some of the furniture is actually quite challenging to assemble.

I'll keep it short and simple, I hate this game a lot. If you who wont be named is reading this be glad to know I rate The Sims 4 and all of its money grabbing expansions much higher than this piece of trash, so keep buying those expansions instead of this and then reminisce of other games after having wasted your money on said dlc that you use less than a week.

Attempt to build a chair, end up with modern art instead.

this game is an fcking NIGHTMARE. nothing is going together right, everything is misaligned, theres a piece where i have no idea where goes. 10/10 you should buy it. great game

This is a unique little game which makes building furniture so much more complicated and hilarious. Unfortunately… that’s really all there is to it. I got bored of the concept pretty fast. It’s fun with a friend, but it gets old quick.
