Really disappointed for the use of AI in the games art when before the game already had its own art that looked pretty good .... damn shame to go that part
Replace AI art with actual human digital art with the money you got from the sales, idiota.
I bought the game because I saw potential in a previous version I played in an expo. But the game feels a slog to play and the creator is constantly showing you his insecurities. The first dialogue in the game is about how everyone is an idiot except himself because they told him the jump button choice was unexpected (I understand his frustration but the rest of the players are not to blame) Months after that, he replaced the cool art the game had for IA art so that was the nail in the coffin.
The developer is using AI generated content without disclosing it on the steam store page. He is also deleting comments from the discussion forums that are critical of his usage of AI art. Do not support this developer.
I'm sure it's a good game but Dr. Kucho it seems has lost his marbles. Why smear a perfectly good looking game with AI feces? I'm not even sure if my issue is that it's AI "art" but that it looks so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad and doesn't even blend in with the tone or art style of the actual game. It's such a bad first impression, especially when the capsule art looked fine before. Completely bizarre, like some boomer had too much fun using the tool and thought everyone would find it as amusing as he did.
Can't recommend with all the AI generated material. Fun fact: In most countries, AI art can't have a copyright since it wasn't generated by a human. It automatically goes into the public domain. I guess that means anyone can make a game that looks like Darsalon.
A.I art
Game is alright. I didn't play it very long. Had to come back and give it a negative review because the promo artwork has been replaced with AI slop. I don't want to see AI slop in my library and I never would have bought this if I knew that was a possibility. Apparently he put AI slop in the game, too. To go and do that after your game is already finished is some real psycho ♥♥♥♥, and you can tell the dev has some attitude problems because of how defensive he is about absolutely everything. Even the in-game text is defensive about the control scheme.
AI art included for no reason. Don't purchase the game
Was a cool game, use of AI art is inexcusable and incredibly disappointing.
