First off, I'm the Translation Beta Tester Vekh listed in the Credits, so I am biased in this review. Second off, system requirements aren't exactly accurate, the game will work fine on Windows 7 as well. Then the actual review: This is a game with a fairly simple concept and simple gameplay, that is not a negative though since most of the fun of it lies in in the character interaction and seeing what gets you what. The game has a good sense of humour, characters are fairly close to canon, nice artstyle and you'll be spending a lot of fairly short runs getting all the collectibles and endings. With repeated playthroughs unlocking bonuses to make the game easier and give you minor bonuses. Only complaint I have is that there is some minor RNG element which can make certain trades harder than they ought to be. All in all, quite fun for all ages and certainly worth the price of admission, even if you don't know anything about the Touhou Series.

Hina has always been my favorite if not one of my favorite girls ever since I first saw her sprite in Touhou mountain of faith and hear her stage music. While her ability is to absorb the misfortune of humans, she is also hiding deep inside a forest that is located under a mountain that is full of youkai, chasing away any human that has mistakenly entered the dangerous realm of youkai and making sure they leave safely. To prevent the absorbed misfortune from going back to humanity, Hina let these dark matters surround her, then distance herself from humanity. People don't know this, they only know they have to avoid her at all costs as the consequences of getting too close to her misfortune can be death, therefore treating her like a plague. They never appreciate what she did, they never try to make a statue, offering or be thankful to this goddess who has been protecting them for the entire time. They only escape when they see her, believing she is the reason why misfortune exists in and fall on them. Even though Hina is taking all the blame, she doesn't hate humanity for this, conversely, she loves humans a lot. She may act dismissive when she saw a human. She does that because she knows she is objectively too dangerous to stay close with, and so she acts uninterested, but deep down in her heart, she likes humans, she just wants these humans to live a safe and intact life and perhaps she wants to know more about human. Hina is so nice that she never intentionally be hostile to any human beings, she is so forgiving that she never pulls a long face at people who treat her as an enemy or apocalypse. She is so innocent that she thought if she dresses up like a Christmas gift, people will understand she is in fact friendly. Even Nitori considered she is too gentle as an apotropaic god and stated that she won't get angry under any circumstances in the M-1 Grand Prix. You see, Shion may also be a misfortune god, but Hina is the one who has the thinking of benefiting everyone else regardless of how harsh she is treating herself, and executes it in the best way to anyone possible, except herself. Did she ever reveal how sad, and pitiful she is after all these works and only to get hated on? Hina is THE TRUE SECRET ANGEL that no one admires. Hina is so underappreciated as a protective goddess, Her ancestry has made up for the best ability material, the best religious material, and the absolute best waifu material. How can you not love, receive any affection from or return your feeling to a person that is willing to give up all she has, and not have a complaint, JUST FOR YOU? One thing is for sure, there won't be a person treating a relationship as serious, as sincere, and as cherishing as Hina does, cause she treats humans with genuine. Unfortunately, people still only acknowledge or referring her as "SPIN" or "hinacopter", they always think she spins for fun, overlooking the fact that this girl has one of the biggest contrast between personality and ability and how she is able to make use of it to help people out. Hina, she maybe the incarnation of darkness, depression, and danger for most people, but she will always be the brightest, warmest and most beautiful guardian goddess for me.

厄神様ときっと何かあったはずのクリエーターさんなだけあって面白いですね。 二次創作と言えばキャラたちの会話を眺めたりすることが楽しいのですよね、馴染みのキャラたちの原作では観れなかった組み合わせ、状況、話題などなど楽しめることいっぱいでとても良かった…のですが… むでっぽうで進んじゃうと結構難航してしまいますね…いやまぁむでっぽうなプレイのせいでしょうけども。 途中からはつい夢中になってメモりながら挑み続けてグッドエンディングまでは着きました…疲れちゃったので残りのエンディングや実績はあとで挑むことになりますね…はるか。 まぁ、メモを詳しく足していけば何れコンプリートできるとは思いますね。 で、まとめると！思いの外結構難度あって長々と楽しめるので東方好きなら是非ともプレイしていただきたいと思いますね！ それに穣子エロい

Much better than the other ISY game on Steam. A bug: if you trade wet Kimono right at the time it drys, you get both the trade good and dry Kimono.

Translator is a filthy hypocrite who doesn't consider his actions for half a second if it could give him a bit of extra profit. Too bad since the game itself is pretty fun, look into a way of getting an untranslated version of the game if you want to support the dev.
