sweating while i hover over the radar controls, waiting for exactly the right moment to ping for incoming enemy missiles. now! scramble the fighters, intercept! did any other fleets catch my radar signature? wait, they sent two? i don't have another fighter wing ready for deployment, launch the last interceptor missile! oh hell, i hope it works! if i can just get to them, the mojave-class flagship will pound them into the sand of the desert, but- wait, if i detach some of these prize vessels and lure them with overactive radar. . . highfleet is a unique naval-inspired operational fleet management and combat game. it highly emphasizes the role of information - where you are, where enemies are, how you can find each other without revealing yourselves, who has what assets, how to decide what to expend and conserve, and so on. it also emphasizes fleet readiness, relationships with local settlements and power-holders, building and relying on your reputation in a foreign culture, raiding and feinting strikes, a lot. the interface is stylish and surprisingly easy to use for so many dense functions and how visuals-forward it is. the actual side-scrolling combat mode of the game is also quite good, it's just the rest of it steals the show. there's also a custom ship-builder, it can be very effective.

Too many bugs, a shallow story, and an unfinished game—all at a premium price.

Slamming giant dieselpunk ships into each other has never felt this heavy or satisfying. Between the incredibly tactile UI and the brutal combat, it’s a completely unique and unforgiving strategy experience.

Я решил быть счастливым и посмотреть прохождение на ютабе, но игра, конечно, просто топовая. Это гем, который очень сложно раскусить.

Классная игра, когда-то давно смотрел прохождение или обзор этого чуда, вот купил и сам попробывал, не сомненно у неё есть пара моментов по интерфейсу бесячих, но в остальном это интересный продукт с крутыми механниками)

HighFleet は、艦隊指揮シミュレーション + リアルタイム空戦 + レーダーやESMなどによる索敵・電子戦 + 現地組織のリーダー説得による仲間化を狙うギャルゲー(?)の要素を持つ、かなり独特でおもしろいゲームです。 プレイヤーは、マップ上で飛行戦艦の艦隊運用指揮、戦闘時は各機体の操作を行い、最終目的地であるKhiva（ヒヴァ(頭のkは発音しないらしい)）の占領を目指して戦いを進めていきます。 タイトル画面から選択できるSHIPWORKSというモードはオリジナルの飛行戦艦を作って遊べるモードなのですが、そのモードで作った飛行戦艦はメインモード開始時に艦隊に編成してスタートできるので、非常に良かったです。 このゲームのかなり感動した点としては、2Dとは思えないほどの演出と世界観関係がかなり凝っていてエンジン起動時の画面上に発生する電子ノイズや天候変化による雨粒、被弾時の演出等がかなり作りこまれています。 HighFleet世界(ゲーム内ではエラートと呼ばれている世界)では、ロシア系の海軍的な雰囲気の飛行艦隊がアラビア系の砂漠で戦うというかなり好きな人には刺さる世界観が広がっており、プレイ難易度が少し高い点を考慮しても多くの人におすすめしたい素晴らしい作品だと思いました！
