Hidden Cats: Old Amusement Park takes you to the decaying remains of an old amusement park for a relaxing, pressure-free scavenger hunt. The art is charmingly moody, the music is perfectly atmospheric, and the whole vibe is the kind of cozy-creepy blend I can happily curl up in. Mechanically, it nails the essentials. There’s no achievement clutter: everything is in the base game, no hidden “gotcha” challenges. Hints recharge in 60 seconds and highlight a general area instead of giving the answer, so you still get to do the finding. Zones color up when complete, the zoom is fantastic, cat placement feels fair, and there’s even autosave for when you want to take a break. The main level has you hunting 101 cats, while the optional DLC adds another 200 for those who want more. The only thing to watch out for? Cat butts. Lots of them. As other reviewers have pointed out, some of these felines are presented in angles that… prioritize rear views over recognizable cat shapes. If you’re a purist who wants every cat to look like a cat and not a rump with ears, you might find yourself rolling your eyes. And if you’re skipping the DLC, just know the experience will be on the short side (about 8 minutes for the main level in my case, 12 more with the DLC). Overall, it’s a charming, moody little cat hunt that’s over quickly but leaves a pleasant aftertaste, provided you don’t mind a few too many kitty butts in your collection. Find the cats and it auto fills the drawing with color! What a lovely edition of paint and locations of these cats. I enjoyed it and recommend it.

[h1]FANTASTIC![/h1] I have a ton of Cat-HO games downloaded that I haven't gotten around to playing. To be honest, I've waded through way too many simplistic "clicker" versions and I was growing weary because of the lack of challenge. Well, Adventure Awaits restored my faith in this genre because Hidden Cats: Old Amusement Park is exactly what I was yearning for!   The artwork is top-notched (take note wannabe's 😸) I can tell you, I've played 'em all and the cats are so easy to spot because they use sharp, straight black lines for the buildings and thick outlines for the cats which makes them stick out like a sore thumb ...but that's just not the case here! Yes, there are a lot of kitty butts and faces, but they are not impossible to spot, they just require you to pay attention to the details ...and isn't that what these games are supposed to be about?   The music was fantastic! The loops blended seamlessly, and it matched the creepy dilapidated Amusement Park them perfectly!   The first scene has 101 Hidden Cats, and the second scene has 200 Hidden Cats. I enjoyed the fact that the second level had a bit more challenge, because that's how it works, it's supposed to start out easy and then take it up a notch!   As you find all the cats in a building or section, the black-and-white scene fills in with vibrant colors that will delight the senses. It does make finding the remaining cats a bit easier because it narrows down the playing field. Игра проходится очень быстро, но довольно интересная и расслабляющая игра на поиск котиков по карте

Игра полностью проходится за 13 минут. В моём понимании это крайне малое количество времени для игрового процесса. Думаю эта игра подойдёт только заядлым любителям поиска и то если прям вообще не осталось вариантов. Хотя для таких ребят время прохождения должно быть меньше, а это уже как платить за уровне в игре от Алавар, мех.

Hidden Cats: Old Amusement Park is the latest hidden object game from Adventure Awaits; both the base game and its DLC are priced. Each part of the game consists of a large and well drawn monochrome scene in which a number of cats (101 in the base, 200 in the more detailed DLC) have to be discovered; as all cats in an area are found, that area becomes attractively multi-coloured. The cats are fully or partially visible (including facing away from the viewer), and those consisting of a partial silhouette with no other detail can be surprisingly difficult (in a challenging and satisfying way) to spot. There is a good zoom facility and a recharging hint function which indicates an area in which a cat can be found. There are achievements (in the base game only) for finding particular numbers of cats and for clearing areas of the scene (I prefer this to games in which every found object has a pop-up achievement which tend to get in the way). As with all of the games in this series, I liked the background music (in this case appropriately spooky tunes for the desolate amusement park and mansion). I had a very enjoyable time playing both parts of this game and, unlike earlier Adventure Awaits games, I don't have a reservation about value for money; I paid UK £1.34 (additionally reduced because I have all of the other games in the series) for my 86 minutes of play time.

A fun but short game. A little tip: look for the cats' rear ends, as most of them are hidden that way.
