initially I was having fun with this game, but once I got to the snow area onward, it just became a slog. Suddenly I was doing F all for damage and the boss was atrociously bad. I was a 99 power warrior and barely doing anything with the snails after that. I really don't see how It could be my fault that I'm not doing damage or that my specs are wrong. on top of that the platforming all throughout the whole experience was painful. I want to like this more but it just pissed me off.

HoU has struck that golden chord of "I want to play more" without triggering the dreaded "I need to play more". I can experiment with skill trees freely and kill stuff without the feeling of "I must do this or else". This is awesome, especially with a busy schedule. The developer(s) being interactive on discord and carefully considering user feedback is a cherry on top. It's feels great to play an entertaining game that isn't trying to squeeze every ounce of your attention out of you. Would highly recommend if you don't care about a game's story lol

Such an amazing game. Really enjoyed my initial play and excited to try multi-player and work through the rebirth. Most of the systems are very easy to understand and seem overall forgiving. The difficulty seems fair, especially as the death penalty is minimal. My only complaint is I wish there just just more, not because there isn't enough, but because I enjoyed it so much.

Exact same control scheme as Hollow Knight, it's essentially a multiplayer version of it with fun skill trees and abilities baked in! While the game is short (there is a new game+ though), and some multiplayer bugs can hold the game back, it's still an incredibly unique experience. We can only hope more very similar games continue to be made in the future, as this is a standalone genre with tons of unrealized potential that has barely been explored at all by big studios and small.

Very good game after the main story, achievements are challenging. The community is very friendly, sadly low player count but it do it's thing. The main story was short but that wasn't the main dish of the game but completing the game to 100% I've been up for years and one thing I just disliked was losing my saves and clouds over by over again I've played more on offline which is more than my steam record. Great game, so nostalgia.

Actually a very nice game. I played the free Java-based beta version on Linux years ago. Unfortunately, the Steam version I bought no longer works on GNU/Linux. So I don't recommend buying it for Linux users!
