Prices

Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 38/day in the week to Aug 25 → 45.57/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

I started blind with only base game. I'm arpg vet and like to take my time with first playthrough full clearin areas and making my own build. I choose pyromancer, which is very cookie cutter fire spell caster. Combat in the game is pretty meh and aside couple bosses it was mostly just buffing and spamming damage skill. Mobs aren't really dangerous at all. Bosses can hit hard, so dodging their attacks is very much advised. Overall my experience at first difficulty was very lackluster. There wasn't any interesting encounters and even side dungeons felt really boring. I did full clear every area and boss in normal and was pretty bored, but I wanted to see how late game feels. In second difficulty (nightmare) there was new encounters, which made the experience a lot better. I found tower with 10 stages and choices for difficulty modifiers and strange portal which kept portaling me to different dungeons/bosses etc. I ran thru nightmare very fast and it is pretty fast to do when not fullclearing like noob. I think it was in nightmare, but i start to get special subskill points, which can customize how your skill works. It's little like d3 runes, but has little more depth and can for example chance your normal fireball to duration skill which rotates around you or make your fireball split into many smaller ones after hitting enemies. Soon i was in hell difficulty, which was somewhat difficulty increase. I had died before, but it was mostly just me being super class cannon or playing bad. In hell i kinda needed upgrade my gear little before i could continue. Games marketplace works fine, but because i started like 2 weeks after league start, most ppl already had moved on. I found lots of cheap upgrades and continue on. In hell you start to get quests which give you points to buff the random encounters similar to path of exile atlas points. I had not seen big amounts of them yet and it was very cool to discover all the stuff. You also start to get hero levels after getting to lvl 100 which is very similar to poe skill tree. At this point it felt like the boring intro was over and i could start to get gear, skills and map mechanics to play how i liked. Character customization is pretty great. Loads of different items with different wonky stats and downsides to consider. There is mythics (like rares in most other games), runewords, uniques, set items, heroic items(like better uniques, but more rare or boss drop etc) and super rare angelic/unholy gear. Charms also have this big grid and are super duper powerful with their own uniques. For example in hell 3 difficulty i decided to buy some decent unique charms to replace my terrible ones and it straight just doubled my damage. There is lots good amount customization in skills, subskills and hero levels too, but i found that for my class the skill tree was quite weak. I was playing projectile + explosion skill (fireball) and there was only couple crit and proj clusters and not even one spell explosion cluster on the spell area of the tree. There was alot interesting stuff tho for other builds. I found leveling fun nonetheless. Endgame was pretty great as you can customize your experience a lot and focus farming on things you like. There is campaign boss farming, dungeons, uber bosses and normal map special events. You can also do codexes in which u can socket modifiers. In the end i did most of the content in hardest inferno difficulty with my own suboptimal build blind. The biggest downside of the game is that there is tons of inventory tabs, stash tabs, market slots and other convenience behind paywall. It can be played without (like i did), but it can feel pretty miserable without paying. Also those are all very on your face all the time. Game is very cheap tho so this isn't huge problem. Also i never did buy the dlc and the game felt totally fine without it. To my knowledge it just adds daily quest, some areas and some bosses which i was totally fine without. I also encounter bug after long quest chain (took many hours of grinding) that i didn't get soulforged ring for the reward. I ask about it in discord and was told to make ticket and it was resolved in 30 mins which is pretty awesome customer service. Dev has added some news about future season, which tries to fix boring leveling by removing nightmare all together. Newest dlc also is gonna be free for all and current paywalled act 8 will also become free. Sounds good. Hopefully they also move skill tree to lvl 1 chars for extra spice. Also market searching for items with specific ranges would be big for me. Overall for arpg fan this game is pretty great if you like farming and can make it to endgame. It has problems, but i would say its worth a try for most people as the game is so cheap. I understand there is ppl who despise the business model or old reviews from dark past, but currently game deserves a lot more than mixed rating.

bought in April 2015, the old version of this game I bought is not playable(tried in versions & betas). i dont like PoE, diablo style games. never in my life would i thought a game would switch to a completely different game. imagine if Minecraft was deleted and instead it was a legend of zelda game with Minecraft textures.
Returned to it after few years and its not game i bought.
200 hours played, s9 hits, days of server failurs, glitches, roll backs, now they decide to tune the game up a few weeks into the season, i'm playing Markman multishot. We can't teleport, can't shoot through soft walls, all we had was damage, Post patch i have lost 65 percent of my damage, Builds bricked. All phys builds have been bricked, if your not a caster it's pointless
Played fine for a while now every time I enter a zone to progress the game I crash after fighting mobs for like 10 seconds. Support is virtually non existent and the tickets you submit in Discord take weeks on end to be answered. At it's core it's not a bad pixel AARPG. Just way too many bugs this late into development to be worth even 7$. Especially when the bugs are legit game breaking that stop you from progressing or playing further. The entire #help section of the discord is one of the most active parts of the discord with the least amount of mod/dev engagement which is a MAJOR red flag for anyone interested in playing. Also, if you get into the game, it will cost you more than $7, you get a whopping two stash tabs in the base game without opening your wallet again. Want to try a cool new class you saw a video on? Open your wallet. Predatory dev team. Can push out MTX's no problem, god forbid they fix their game though. Multiple people bricked their entire game in season 10 because they opened one of their old chars rendering their game to crash on opening any zones. It's been almost 2 days without them even addressing it in their discord.
much as I want to like this game, there are designs of that clearly show that the devs do not care about gameplay experience. mining skill level, jewel crafting skill level, mining useless low lvl ore to level up, quests which requires pressing interaction key on 300/400/500 map objects. 500 fking times non rewarding clicking on piles of junk. BULL ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CRAP is this some outdated mmorpg im playing? imagine when you are in a high level zone/map and you want to try a game mechanic, but no you can't, because the game need you to go back to level 1 zone and grind on those mechanics first before you play it at lvl 100. Imagine you have to grind enough chaos pillars in normal, before you can start doing them in nightmare, then you need to grind those pillars in nightmare before you can do them in hell or inferno. Who fking stays in normal and nightmare bro? Or in POE if you need to grind breach in lvl 20s before you can start a breach in lvl 30s, then keep grinding breachs in order to be able to do lvl 40s, 50s etc. Imagine at lvl 90 you need to go back to lvl 10,20,30 areas to grind on a game mechanic and the mechanic level is not shared between your ssf characters. If you don't like this then you should not like mining skill or jewel crafting skill level. It's the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. you don't need anything from early mining, it's absolutely non rewarding grind just for the sake of grinding the level. It's not like you can get skill points for leveling mining and put them in a mining skill tree, no you don't get any 'fun' or reward from that. Also those quests that make you touch 300, 500 map objects? so much fun resetting an area to kick on 500 stone piles. what kind of psychopaths would add this to an ARPG? What kind of players would think this is fun gameplay? The devs KNEW this is not fun and intentionally add this to the game, for what? To make fun of their players? This kind of attitude is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and I just cannot recommend such toxic gameplay and toxic devs to anyone.
Nunca vi um criador/desenvolvedor, desrespeitar tanto a player base, como o desse jogo. Arrependimento mortal de já ter monetizado o game...
I've played Hero Siege on and off for years, going back to when you could literally get banned for using a flask. The game has changed an insane amount since then. Back in the day the graphics were rough, Hero Levels sucked past 100. There was no Incarnation or Ether tree, bossing basically didn't exist. & the endgame was essentially Satan → Nightmare → Hell -> Hell 5. Gear was poorly designed, Satanics were incredibly rare and usually worthless, relics dropped on death, and the mailbox/auction house could somehow eat your rubies and gold. The worst part was how little information existed. There were barely any guides or content creators, so you were mostly figuring everything out yourself. Graxxy was basically the guy making videos that taught people how to actually play the game. There wasn't much reason to even push to 100 when rerolling wasn't a thing and the endgame was so limited. Chaos Towers were about as exciting as it got with the influx of "inv" in the global chat when someone located one. Coming back to Hero Siege now is a completely different experience. Hero Levels, Augments, Sub Skills, Crafting, the Marketplace Hub, Uber Bosses, proper late-game scaling, the Incarnation skill tree, The ether skill tree, seasonal mechanics and a massively expanded endgame have transformed the game. There's Inferno difficulty, Arch Demon Plateaus, Unholy items, Amun-Ra, Gabriel, Luna, Chaos Pillars, Unholy Siege, Cursed Spirit, Unstable Rift and a whole load of other content that didn't exist back then including a lot more classes and builds. The game also actually looks and feels modern now. The graphics have been massively improved and the gameplay feels much more fluid. There are multiple content creators making guides and pushing endgame content, Hero Siege Helper Plus exists, and there's actually information available for players instead of having to blindly figure everything out via Discord. The game still isn't perfect. Some builds can feel pretty ♥♥♥♥ during the early game and don't really come online until around level 40 when they get their first Sub Skill. Some of the old problems with progression and itemisation can still be felt as well. It's gone from a janky little ARPG with barely any information, a tiny endgame and some absolutely questionable systems into a game with genuinely deep progression, seasonal content, difficult endgame bosses, build variety and an actual community around it. I've watched this game evolve from its worst years, and the amount of work that's gone into it is pretty impressive. Definitely worth playing if you haven't touched Hero Siege in years.
Its a well executed compilation of hacknslashmayhem, that has been done better before. Thedeveloper has taken upon themselves to focus on all posibl avenues of milking the shrinking playerbase. Sadly the steady updates that ignore payerbases feedback 😄_ such as calls for basic qol features like text size show greed above all. Buy diablo 2 or torchlight instead, o strees of rogue.
Spend 8 dollars to send more money for basic game mechanics. Its great if you don't carry about terrible microtransactions
