Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

you lose every time, even at tutorial.AI is stupid
no controller support, I have no idea how this is steam deck verified because it is unplayable on one
Balance is all kinds of wonky. Most fights are always "Hard" or "impossible" -- then as you are making progress and actually branching out and building up your town, the enemy will swoop in with death squads of 200+ units and be level 19 while you are like level 10 as obviously they had no problems just dominating their map to get to you. I've come back to the game time and time again and there's some fun here but the balance is awful.

This is basically Heroes of MM 2, but with more fun and chaotic combat
Game is fundamentally broken. There is a 'building planner', and you can select the buildings in your main town screen to build them. Sometimes you can build a building in the planner, but not by selecting the building, and sometimes it's the other way around. I tried playing two games, one game the monsters and such were around a power I could fight, the second game everything was 'impossible', so I just couldn't actually fight anything or gather anything. Apparently they are working on Heros Hour 2... Considering they can't even get this one working, I highly doubt I will even look at that one.
AI cheats its own face off. Did multiple maps, team combos, even tried playing with modded factions. The AI cheats so friggin much that I played every single game I played the AI came to wipe me with armies that are double my level, and 3 times as large before week 1 is even over. Avoid buying this unless you like losing.
This game is very fun if youre interested in finding out how to break the game. Its engaging, challenging and every faction and hero type adds a unique playstyle. Like magic? find a way to cast spells that cause multiple echo casts and rain hell on the map for minutes on end with your massive mana pool. Want unstoppable troops? use consume to eat your units and gain huge permanent stat increases. My only recommendation: create story driven quest lines.

сделайте онлайн мод. Меня бесит этот дурацкий Remote play. А так игра ничего, под пивко потянет
i got this game when it was free on opera gx a few years ago, and, despite frequent bugs and crashes, i loved it. they seem to have fixed SOME of these, but whenever i try to make custom content i do still crash instantly. i will admit, the gameplay loop does have some amount of interesting decision-making, and it is rather fun. most of the reason i'm reviewing this well is just nostalgia, though. i can't bring myself to hate this game.
