This game really is not enjoyable.
This Game Needs A Remake! And Of Course A Sequel. I Can't Fall In Love With The Game Every Time I Play It. Where Are The Brave Devs?

So simple yet so beautiful. I mean you encounter numerous fight scenes, riddles, minigames and bosses while exploring the breathtakingly abstract art of the underwater enviroment. The soundtrack is also a masterpiece! Absolutely gorgeous game.
All in all, I liked the game. It's nice looking, with good music and sound effects. Gameplay is also not bad, with some story to tell. Quite balanced: not too easy, not too hard. However, there are some issues I had with this game. The main one is, the "visual-only story" approach did now work well. First of all, many reviewers mention that it's controlled primarily by mouse. Well, it can also be controlled by keyboard, but you won't know it until you try. The problem is, there's absolutely no info about controls in this game, let alone ability to reassign them. (Side note: I only play keyboard and mouse, so I have no idea how the game works with a controller.) I discovered most of the keys literally by pressing all of them! That's how I found that you can move using the cursor keys (or the I, J, K, L keys). In addition, there are special abilities which you gain as you progress the story. When you get one, a hint with the letter appears for a couple of seconds in the bottom right corner, and then disappears. So if you miss this (and it's easy to miss, it doesn't attract attention!), you might not even know about it. I managed to notice A and D, but I've missed two others, while looking at the cutscene, and again, was able to find them only by pressing various keys one by one. The same issue is with UI. It's icons only, no text, no tooltips, nothing. "X" for exit is more or less obvious, but when I wanted to restart from the checkpoint, I guess-pressed the round arrow, and was thrown back to the start of the level. That was very annoying, since the level was quite hard, and I went far. During the gameplay, I was stuck a few times. Same reason: no idea what's going on, and what I'm supposed to do. Sometimes you have to fight, sometimes you have to flee, but you have no idea which is which, until you die several times in an impossible-to-win battle. Controlling the AI swarms is a bit annoying, they are stupid and cannot really be controlled. So they end up being damaged in some tight areas, even though they could easily have avoided the obstacle. Still, I noticed all those issues only because I played the game, and I played it because I liked it. It may look nasty, presented in a compressed form like this, but if you take the whole game time, it doesn't really affect you that often. I enjoyed this game, and can recommend it to those who appreciate this game style.
Hero of Many is a good enough game however the enjoyment doesn't last. It doesn't seem to be completely developed. Its very simple with just a mouse to control your hero. There is no game information displayed at all. There is no context, plot or backstory to speak of. I have no idea of my progress in the game. Overall Hero of Many wears thin too quickly.
