[i]Fazit zum Adventure[/i] [h1][b]HER STORY[/b][/h1] Her Story ist eine FMV-Indie-Perle aus dem Jahr 2015. In diesem spielbaren Film bzw. Filmschnipseln, die man sich selbst im Spiel zusammensucht, geht es um eine junge Frau, die 1994 mehrmals auf einer Polizeistation verhört wurde. Jede weitere Zeile, die ich jetzt darüber schreiben könnte, wäre ein Spoiler. Nur so viel sei allgemein gesagt: Wegen eines Wasserschadens sucht man über den Polizei-Computer die besagten Filmschnipsel per Schlagwortsuche zusammen, um einen Hintergrund zusammenzufügen. Es ist ein Trip. Die Story ist extrem glaubhaft gestaltet. Das Schauspiel kommt gut rüber. Der Look des Polizei-Rechners, des Suchsystems und die generelle Soundkulisse passen super. Ich habe etwa drei Abende für die Geschichte gebraucht und muss sagen: Ja, es war irgendwie... Arbeit... Aber das Gefühl, dank seiner eigenen, fleißigen Polizei-Arbeit befriedigende Antworten zu erhalten, ist grandios! Wer Lust auf ein ruhiges Adventure der anderen Art hat und generell FMV-Spiele ausprobieren möchte: Go for it! ✏️ [i]nekolexus[/i]~

This game doesn't explain what is the exact goal or how to play it: and it is beautiful. That first realization when you are on the right track feels absolutely fantastic. That being said: you will need some dedication to solve the mystery, also, possibly, a piece of paper, a cup of hot black coffee and a cool detective hat. (Leaving tags was fun. "What" was the most used one)

Unplayable on M1 Macbook Pro. You can install it, get through the title screen and start clicking on things but the moment you try to look at a video clip, you get a black screen and a blue 'x' that actually exits you out of the game. Too bad, really wanted to try this on my Macbook.

This game makes you FEEL like [strike] Spiderman [/strike] a detective.

A fascinating experience – quite different from what I had expected after having heard about this game throughout the years, but that's very positive: It means that I was able to not get spoiled in any meaningful way, not even about broad strokes of the story at the heart of this mystery. The nature of this game makes it require your [i]full[/i] attention, which is not all that common anymore in the era of collectathon open-world games and the like (which I'd say was already pretty common at the time this game released). I enjoyed engaging with it this way, and felt rewarded handsomely by uncovering a story in a way that felt similar to reading an excellent whodunit novel. You begin theorizing, suspecting possible interpretations, find yourself sometimes gasping with "no way, could it be?!" light-bulb moments. The gameplay and user interface are daringly simple. Initially I thought that surely at some point I'd reach a threshold of progression where something would change, I couldn't even fathom how it'd be possible for the game to meaningfully conclude within the confines it operates in. But it does, and it works. My only minor complaint is that the option to completely wipe your savegame is a bit too easy to accidentally trigger when trying to figure out potential ways to progress by interacting with anything the interface has to offer. I was at around 95% completion when this happened, so I ended up spending a lot of extra time getting back to where I already was before I could 100% it. Not all of that felt like a waste of time because rewatching things with all the knowledge I had acquired at that point sometimes was pretty interesting – but I'd still rather not have had that happen. I had this game sit in my library for almost five years before finally deciding to give it ago. Hearing Sam Barlow talk about his process in the recent Panic podcast episode on [url=https://podcast.panic.com/episodes/s02e02/]Full Motion Visionaries[/url] gave me the push I needed, and I'm already excited to play IMMORTALITY next.

为学英语玩的，打开字幕，一边看一边查词典。大概2个小时，猜出核心，但是一些作者特别设计的悬念，让我不敢确信，继续探索，发现一些之前没有知道的细节。差不多满意后，上网看剧情。跟自己想的差不多。作为学英语，过程很满意，效果不知道。游戏很好玩
