I'm having just the most amazing time flying across these skatescapes and bouncing, planting, and grinding off everything, and it's sooo sweet slowly unlocking metaprogression upgrades after every run and discovering secrets. I love my axe and warhammer too, as well as poison attacks.

i waited a long time imo. i bought this game in a sale and in a way i dont feel guilty about it game is clearly good and the story line is nice and i love the colorfull theme. man i like some rock i swear. but not the one in this game. i guess they had to buy cheap ones LOL. but really the game is awesome man. whatshall i say. its literally a hybrid of seriously tony hawk pro skater of the neversoft days combined with that sunset overdrive kind of fight. but hey im not gonna exagerate here. sunset overdrive is open world plus more advanced. as for the physics i hate the apres neversoft tony hawk they are really stiff and unfortunately qua physics it may be better than tony hawk apres neversoft but its still not as good as let us say the peak of thps 4 or theunderground 1 this game is solid man you dont want more or less its in good form however im not an achievement typa dude but i get that dem peeps wann it. and i think its a reasonable request. also as good as the game is and playable in a really enjoyable way we need some updates guys and some improvements. not gonna nitpick here dem devs know what we talkin bout i give the game a good 8 cuz ye know we sk8 so let us sk8 in game and real life and we dont need no crew just me and my board. my life and my improvement my fitness and my journey and travel

This was a pleasant surprise, stumbled upon while browsing. The roguelike aspect is not only unique but executed incredibly well, the way the devs incorporated gear vs stats is very well done. visually this game is very pleasing and keeps you wanting to bust out sick lines to see the visual effects. I went in worried that it wouldnt be "skateboard" enough and man they capitalized on the trick system...HIGHLY recommend this gem

The music is cool, the worldbuilding is promising, graphics are decent, the gameplay works... ...BUT the atrocious level design makes the game unplayable, I keep going trough the map and that is a CRIME in a skate game ! Zero Updates since the post launch patch, and a world of unkept promises. I am deeply frustrated because the game could be awesome, but in the end i cannot recommend it.

Neat idea where the company pulled the plug halfway through, leaving an empty and unfinished game. Was really looking forward to this game, but left extremely disappointed. Don't feed the corporate greed machine for unfinished products. Don't buy this one.

I cannot recommend this game. In theory I should, every genre this game tries to blend together seems great on paper, but in execution nothing blends well together, nothing feels right, nothing clicks. The momentum doesn't ever feel good, the combat gets stale very quickly. I played the game in early access hoping these problems would get ironed out but nothing really changed. The art style grabbed me at first but that wasn't enough to get me to keep playing.

Really upset that I didn't really enjoy this, the music was 10% of the sfx volume, the rougelike mechanics were fine but the game overall felt very stiff to play, and the optimization was so bad, some levels ran at 15fps unless I toned down the graphics to Low. Also apparently the game's not finished and won't be? idk the details, do your own research.

it's a nice concept. I liked what I played but it's unfinished. I can't recommend a game this unfinished with no clear support from the devs. I'd love to see someone take this idea and really flesh it out.

Great art and interesting genre exploration. They were willing to take a risk and innovate and i salute them for it! I recommend buying and testing out this game if you are interested in games and genre mashups. Its a great case of dos and donts, and generally a nice looking world to be in. Although its a bit crude and unbalanced, I enjoy skating in the world Phantom Coast have created! Nice artstyle, nice progression ideas and UI. I think the machup with Roguelite and Skating could have a bit more time cooking or killing some of the darlings. This game feels like its trying to be both but perhaps should have leaned into either or. My biggest imertiongreaking was when i practically flew all over the map with one of the talents you can get.
