It's a rogue-lite dungeon-based game where you play as balls knocking each other out! Just roll with it~ [h1][+] PROS;[/h1] :) Insanely simple but novel, creative idea involving balls! :) Addictive gameplay with strategy and gusto needed. :) Much variety to the enemies' ball designs and environments the further you go along. :) Countless equipment to pick up and added with each spawn. Tough calls with hidden boosts and declines to your stats! :) Soundtrack is jolly and relaxing. Like you're actually playing a match of pool. :) Boss theme's just... bit*hen!!! :) Provides quite the challenge as well; with three difficulty modes and a growing curve. :) Playable almost wholly with just the mouse, 'E' and 'ESC' keys https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2562779816 [h1][-] CONS;[/h1] :( Pricing could be considered a little steep for "just" procedurally-generated content. :( It lacks something... There's no conventionally told story and the combat system is missing the usual logs, damage numbers and info you'd otherwise see. :( It may be a rogue-lite genre thing; but... no save points apart from starting current level from scratch. [h1]BUGS:[/h1] x Once, on "Easy" mode- the exit didn't spawn and I had to drop everything... and then myself. x Sometimes you fly so high, you see some fuzzy graphics on the ceilings/skies. [h1]NITPICKS:[/h1] ~ Enemies phase through obstacles like pillars, bumps and rails. But other times go by the rules. ~ Enemies fall too often in pits all on their own regardless of difficulty, which is just so amusing! ~ They also stop in place a lot, won't budge until you come close to them. Happens especially when they're in the corners or when there are big gaps standing in their way. ~ The slightest of contact can deplete your health! Sometimes even when you’re stationary- you will still do damage. [h1]SUGGESTIONS:[/h1] O Difficulty differences are able to be inferred but weren't explained O Steam achievements, trading cards to really flesh out and bait players! O The "restart" option should be clearer- as in to mean "reset playthrough" and not misunderstood as restart current dungeon. Maybe a warning prior as opposed to instantaneously! O Optional enemy health bars? Since the action can get disorienting... O I think some rooms shouldn't have enemies? To really throw us off guard!! O Progress towards unlockables is shown but maybe hint as to what will unlock next? To provide incentive to push through! O A log maybe to show which items you’ve picked up AND OR what stats you currently possess. O Shop items (actually all) have no prior clue as to what they do unless you equip them! As someone who doesn’t really favor rogue-lites, the whole concept grabbed me by the… you know! Could do with some combat improvements, but it’s already a knockout~ If you love to play pool and are open to a new take on the sport but still want to be able to sink balls- loads of them! Maybe you'd like a new spin on rogue-lites.
