Unfortunately I couldn't take much of the game. Get caught on nothing constantly and the game just felt kind of one-note which is a shame because the VR game felt pretty fun. This isn't it though.

I've completed the game and honestly, it's pretty good. The only gripe I have is the hiding system, you press random letters to stay hidden. It never felt responsive and was overly complicated- but unique enough that it was engaging nonetheless. Great voice acting and animations, you can see the studio overreaching a bit but that's ok. The story kept my interest to the end, and left me replaying the game to get more lore. The puppets aren't the only monsters on this stage...

this game is the best
I really wanted to like this game, I absoloutely adored the first one, and the lore is amazing but in my time with this game I've had to reset my PC 3 times due to visual bugs, deal with minigames that don't explain themselves, and essentially have been playing a glorified collectathon. Not to mention the repeat games, the puzzles are far from unique and apppear to be recycled between the areas. It's a shame, and by the look of this games discussion board the devs have abandoned the game and don't play on fixing the various bugs. Play the first game, watch a lets play on this one
good
AMAZINGGGGGG the hello puppets games are so great, love their story too ! :D
This is nice game with good puzzles and atmosphere. It has nice story and characters are interesting. The guy who voiced Mortimer Handy deserves an Oscar. The downpoint of the game is actually the enemies themselves. More precisely, their AI. There are 3 enemies in the game and they actually have the same mechanics with some minor differences. They are not smart eaither, as you get into the hiding spot right before their noses and they would lose a sight of you. The game also allows you to close the doors of your hiding spots "quetly", so it would not attract the enemies nearby, but it us actually much better to close the door loudly, then enemy will run to your hiding spot and you will have to beat one of a few small and easy mini games to stay safe. Beating this mini game makes enemy teleport away from you, which is far more helpful than just hiding quietly while enemies keep walking around you for a long time before finally moving on. But above that, the game plays pretty smoothly, sometimes creating a challenges for you to overcome.
The Voice Actors hard carried this unfinished show, two years later it still feels like a beta with the amount of rough edges I encountered throughout my runs. Still a decent experience if you enjoyed the first game like I do.
lovely puzzle game for those with adhd and those who love puppets
