Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Klare Empfehlung!
For everyone whose eyes hurt from 30 FPS, I recommend using a program called Lossless Scaling — it will give you 60. Personally, playing at 30 FPS with a gamepad already feels kinda unpleasant to me.
Basically one huge warning: You have no control over the camera in this game. It doesn't play like a regular third person action RPG with dual axis input. It played like a 3d horror game from the 90s. If that doesn't bother you, this might be a good game for you. If it does, do not buy.

I'm really curious on why this version of Demon Stone is as bad as it is. We do have a much better version of it on GOG, so why didn't they just port over that instead of one where the frame rate is capped at 30 with no other additions whatsoever?
Геймплей: Напоминает такие же старенькие LoTR: The Two Towers и The Return of the King.
All of the complaints and criticisms listed in these reviews are true. Also, I love this game. It's very fun!
What to expect in the game: bugs and poor balance, nothing new compared to the game long ago. Most bugs have solutions in the discussions, but nothing serious. The only plus for this version is the cloud save. The game is a classic that they no longer make or can't make. If they had repair it, it would be perfect. It's best to play on easy difficulty. And you have to get used to the controls, even if you set them up. But the game still remains a great classic. But preferably with a discount.
I'm gonna give Demon Stone a tentative recommendation. The core concept is pretty fun: three different types of fantasy idiots collide because of circumstances beyond their control and they team up to save the world from a near insurmountable threat, this would be a pretty typically Dungeons and Dragons party if they had a healer, but they don't so someone would probably die a few sessions in. The main gimmick of Demon Stone is that you have these three characters to freely swap between depending on what's going on and who you want to play as, with each bringing something to the table. The wizard can cast spells, the rouge can hide using shadows and instant kill enemies, and the fighter is a giant meatwall to beat things to death with. I think this system really benefits by having all characters fight at once, instead of having the other two sit out for whatever reason, and the AI is smart enough to actually have each character do what makes that character unique, instead of having them spam basic attacks. Moment to moment gameplay is a chaotic beat em up, with your party of misfits up against a variety of fantasy monsters. Beating them to death, stabbing them when they're knocked down, knocking them off cliffs and into various instead death contraptions, its pretty enjoyable. Sometimes a character is made unavailable to play as for one reason or another, or you're locked into one character for a specific encounter. At the end of each level, you can buy skills and items with your accumulated experience and gold, and this is the man progression of the game: beat up idiots for their money and then eating that money for more health and damage. It's a pretty good set up, if you feel like replaying an earlier level with stronger gear, you can see the tangible difference Then the problems start. This game came out during a time when the "in" thing was to make things realistic by having muted color palettes, so you're gonna be seeing a lot of grey and brown. The graphically effects for things like magic spells or fire are similarly not as fancy as they could be, though that might be a technical limitation given the time and the consoles they were working with. The music is either over-powering the action or not there at all, it's really weird, nothing stands out. Enemy design is pretty generic, they're meant to be various fantasy races, but I'm mostly seeing a lot of big gorilla dudes with maybe one particular notable difference besides skin-tone. There are SOME standouts, but mostly you are fighting linebackers. Each character fits a role, but the way the game is structured really REALLY pushes the wizard. If you can get him out of the crab bucket slog a lot that many of the fights can turn into and somewhere safe, he can spam charged ranged attacks and just END fights. With the right gear to increase damage even in the end game the best strategy is "GET BEHIND SOMEONE AND START BLASTING", which for a caster makes sense, but its fairly braindead since there's auto-aim, and the camera can't be controlled so you'll be shooting at dudes you can't see off screen most of the time. Not really compelling gameplay. The second to last boss fight is NOT fun. I don't mean in like a "Waow I need to use the games mechanics instead to spamming attack? :( :( :(" way, I mean its frustrating and not conductive to how the game is structured. You gotta use a specific character to do reasonable damage, and since you need to get into melee to do it, you can get essentially command grabbed to near death. Then you need to swap out to someone else who can't really damage the boss and hope the goon squad adds that spawn in repeatedly drop health so you can switch back to them to continue fighting. While that bit in particular was the worst, the end game in general does suffer a bit from "Uh oh how do we escalate from here? MORE DUDES I GUESS". Some fights are full blown clown car pileups in terms of how many guys show up at once. I know where who I'm controlling is, but the other two are lost in a blur of body builders and sledgehammers. I had fun going through the game again after all this time, but like I said, this is a tentative recommendation. If you can live with game design that decided "WE NEED MORE GOONS" at every opportunity, an art style that decided a "robe of scintillating colors" was plain white, that slashing someone with a sword made a "WHACK" sound, and can get some enjoyment out of seeing specific dungeons and dragons stuff and going "Hey! I know what that is!" I say go for it. I give Demon Stone a "Why does the fighter look like a caveman" out of "What the hell they got Patrick Stewart for this??", it's alright.
