Hello Lady! - Complete Edition

I can't in good conscience recommend HELLO LADY! solely because the protagonist is an impulsive molester which is played off for laughs, and one of the routes has essentially non-con that's ultimately played off as a good thing (not started by the protagonist). HOWEVER if you are willing to look past that then I do recommend this story. It is really funny at points, very compelling, and has some really interesting plot developments and plot twists. I've only played the original 4 routes at time of this review, and will finish the others. I wouldn't say this game is perfect but it's definitely way more involved than what the simple title of "HELLO LADY" might evoke. It's actually thriller mystery lightly centered about romances. If they took out the protagonist reflexively molesting women because he's an eroge protag then this would be like a 9/10 experience. There are interesting themes on resolve, revenge, and what it means to be human. I wouldn't say it's life changing or incredibly profound but it is at least inspiring. The protagonist is, despite everything, very compelling and a fully realized character, which is a real treat. The TL is NekoNyan so it's pretty good quality, occasional slight typos here and there but it's pretty accurate. The music is pretty great, definitely not just background noise. The overall design of the novel is a mix of Higurashi and the FATE series. I had to check multiple times because this story really felt like it was a Type Moon work, since the mechanics are very similar to magic circuits. However it is a completely separate universe. Overall if you can ignore the protag's problems then this is a very enjoyable experience. I just can't recommend it in good conscience to an average friend of mine. update: I have now finished the routes outside of the main 4 routes. Hishia gets done pretty poorly and is essentially a slight rewrite of the original ending. Mitori's route is pretty good, I kinda wish it was part of the original game. The true ending only makes sense if you understand that this game is set in a larger established universe; I believe the final ending really is for lore purposes and trying to resolve one final mystery. Personally I think the original 4 endings are enough, and the extra 3 are for flavor. So don't feel like you should play beyond Saku's ending. They don't form as cohesive a whole as the main story.

特别生气，还是忍不住写差评。我是恋爱脑只喜欢空子，结局也太敷衍了吧啥玩意，为了爱情杀父亲就算了，怎末还强行洗白她爹，还有这条线好狗血，我以为这个合集会有空子后日谈，结果根本没有啊。气死了遂差评

The characters' pupils need to be larger. They look like stiffs when they are that tiny. Other than that, it is great; awesome even. The English translation is marred with errors like "bare ill will" and not knowing the difference between pavers and steps.

男主比较有个性和个人魅力，以至于现在回想起来我就只想的起来男主 结局有一丢丢的草率 最好别原价购买，打折力度还是挺大的

前四个角色剧情还不错，但越玩到后面越难绷，男主的塑造比几乎所有女主加起来还好，大义前面写的那么神秘牛逼结果就一小丑，后期战力依托想到一出写一出。

我的美鸟怎么这么惨，其他线直接死。自己线也一直挨刀子，最后的“我爱你”和“我知道”真的给我看哭了
