Spectral Scream

Despite the obviously AI generated good reviews below, me and a friend gave this game a try. The trailer shows the Brownstone High School map asset so... might be fun? There was no high school. And well, I have no idea what the gameplay is like... I wasn't actually able to move in the game, so couldn't even start playing. Valve Index, Valve Controllers... Neither of joysticks would move my character, none of the face buttons did anything. So... right now, completely unplayable. Refund requested.

A lot of cool items to find throughout the map. I found this one bookcase that had a refund button in it. Didn't think twice about using that.

Very Mixed emotions about this game. Its fun with friends... but the maps are WAY too big that it just ruins the scariness of it all because youre so frustrated that you've spent an hour trying to find one key... would recommend if you had a bunch of friends to play with. otherwise, i wouldnt recommend it at all.

Very fun with friends! I also appreciate how consistent they are with the updates and making sure the game is running well. Definitely recommend :)

Ok la, not bad if u got a friend. Some advices after abit of "research" All the monster are not able to avoid after they lock into unless u run as fast as possible (need to use item) except for the boss. The map is huge but sometime quite confusing. #Update I only play easy twice, Then most of the time is hard mode. Level 1 very easy even in hard mode. Level 2 too big too search,. some time take up to 50 minutes to collect the card. Level 3 only been there a few times, a lot of monster, no idea where is the battery is. gotta find them all. Level 4, have not been there yet

The game play itself is decent, and the art style is awesome. But there need to be some changes made and I think most would agree. First of the grind it self is good but there's no reward for the effort. What is the point of exorcising the creatures just for them to come back? And with them coming back you run out of funds quickly trying to keep up. Secondly I can't think of any game I've played that a boss can not be defeated, and I'm coming from the Coleco days so I've got many decades of experience defeating bosses. At a minimum there should be a option to toggle creatures from re-spawning so frequently or to turn off and an option of permadeath for the boss. I play single player as well so if I can't kill them and they can kill you and you start over with no way to save there's no point to play. At a bare minimum we should at least have hiding places through out the levels. When I play with my son he asks whats the point as we never get past the first level. I'll change my review if there's some changes made to make the game worth playing.

Pro: fun with friends and with recent changes the difficulty has been toned down so much that you can enjoy it well! Con: No tutorial, cant find multiplayer servers since not many play this game :') (I cant fill my playtime only because my friends aren't all available and multiplayer doesn't have enough players)

So buggy, huge lobby problems, I can't join people, when I do join people I get left behind when we all ready up. Sorry but completely unplayable currently.

This game is just not it for vr. Its buggy and if you want to play this in vr you will not have a good time. Also this game has ALOT of positive bot reviews.
