From the makers of Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and DmC: Devil May Cry, comes a warrior’s brutal journey into myth and madness. Set in the Viking age, a broken Celtic warrior embarks on a haunting vision quest into Viking Hell to fight for the soul of her dead lover.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

schizo walking simulator aged a bit poorly, but some ideas and what they were going for at the time was pretty cool

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

cool
A glimpse into what mental illness is like. The gameplay is secondary and simple to a fault. It's a linear walking simulator with simple, yet tedious puzzles and combat that is too easy and forgiving (even on Hard). There are optional "Lorestones" that explain the story from Norse Mythology to collect throughout the game. With that said the story is beautiful though, but if you're looking for a fun game this isn't it. The game also has issues with the subtitles - they're misstimed (sometimes proceeding to the next line even before the first one is finished) and also a fair share of incorrect words that doesn't pair up with that is said. Another issue is you can take one of two paths early on, but one is actually the starting one as it's more simple and introduces the way the game works better, so if you took the "wrong" one, the second one will feel too easy and ruin the flow. Surtr is obviously the first intended starting path, but if you take it second it will be so easy and ruin the flow than if you did it second. Verdict: I would give it mixed as the game isn't that fun but the story is great.
This game teaches the player something special, and the moment you understand what the creators had in mind, even if it's just for a moment—those feelings—they're liberating and uplifting. "Do not mourn the waves, the leaves and clouds. Even in darkness, the wonder and the beauty of this world, never leaves us, it is always there, waiting to be seen again. Good bye."
From the very first minutes, Hellblade pulls you into its dark, unsettling world. Few games manage to blur the line between the player and the protagonist so effectively. The Audio Experience The sound design is a masterpiece. Playing with headphones is mandatory: the binaural audio creates an almost physical presence. The whispers and voices in Senua's head feel disturbingly close, keeping you in a constant state of tension. This is easily the game’s defining feature. Visuals and Style Hellblade still looks stunning. Its grim take on Norse mythology, haunting landscapes, and incredible facial animations make the world feel deeply alive. Some frames play so masterfully with light and fog that you just want to keep hitting the screenshot button. Story and Atmosphere The narrative handles trauma, loss, and psychosis with incredible care and respect. Instead of just showing Senua's struggles, the game forces you to live through them, creating a heavy but powerful emotional connection. Gameplay The combat is straightforward compared to modern action games, but it carries a nice weight and feels satisfying. While the environmental puzzles can occasionally slow down the pace, they fit naturally into the theme of Senua’s perception and never truly derail the journey. Everything here serves the immersion. Final Thoughts Hellblade is a deeply unique, artistic project. It won't satisfy those looking for complex combat combos or fast-paced action, but anyone who values pure atmosphere, storytelling, and groundbreaking audio design needs to experience it.
