Game was absolutely amazing, tons of fun. It was competing and winning against games like Battlefield and Call of Duty. BUT its been totally abandoned for more than 2 years. Loser devs abandoned game at its peak and was just giving empty promises.
One of my fav games of all time, super fun, low spec friendly, and one of the only games that gets that chaos from a 250 person lobby. it felt like actual war a chaos with super awesome enviorment Now... its dead :( barely 1 server can fill up, hasnt been updated for years, and it died. could've been one of my most played games if they just kept their updates I even bought the support edition because i loved it sooo much,... :(
It's REALLY NOT THAT HARD to keep your player-base informed. Instead, we get a publish/developer that went from loving his masterpiece, to throwing it in the garbage like trash when it's still shining. Absolute tragedy; if funds were the issue, you could have EASILY monetized this for cosmetic skins, which you were already doing. It wouldn't be hard to host in-game events as well for community PR. In totality, this was the MOST promising FPS in the last decade without question. It had the makes of everything that makes an FPS great, and you threw it away out of sheer laziness and possibly pride. Get your crap together, you're sitting on a gold mine that you're not even recognizing outside some crappy map re-designs. Also, get over yourself and add shotguns. I know you have a seething rage due to Battlefield shotguns, but they have a role as they always have. Point is, the Dev needs to GET OVER HIMSELF. xoxoxox
This game will be remembered in retrospective videos as a game from the early 2020s that was extremely fun for a few months before vanishing into the wind. It will be a textbook example of how early access can do far more harm than good. When the game was first released, it really could have been a Battlefield killer. Packed lobbies, tons of unique game modes and maps in the pipeline, and super accessible for even those with lower spec PCs. Only those who played the first few months will understand just how fun it was with all the role players frolicking throughout the maps and screaming into the mic. I remember one dude roleplaying a drill sergeant, telling people things like "Don't complain soldier, you knew what you signed up for!". Unfortunately, those days are gone because the game got stale. One year ago when I was still playing weekly, there would be at least two full lobbies on the American server. Now it's a miracle if one fills up. I honestly don't see the game recovering unless it goes free or the price is reduced. Dev blogs are being posted but I honestly doubt any update is coming, and if it does, it is already YEARS TOO LATE. As someone who truly loved the game, I can't foresee myself coming back to play it if the update is ever released. The game had a time and a place, and that time has passed along with the momentum that would have kept me playing.
Until you officially fulfill your promise made in October 2025 to continue updating the game, I will not change my negative review of Battlebit Remastered and I will assume that you, the game developers, are arrogant, shameless, lying axxholes.
I loved this game when it first came out, it was amazing. The community was great, the gunplay was great. There is one glaring problem which means that I cannot recommend it, the game has effectively been dead for 2 years, since around March 2024. The Dev 'team' promised an update by April of 2024 and never delivered. It took them 19 months for an update on steam, which is where most of the playerbase will get information on the game. They then had a playtest in November 2025 and it was incredibly bugged, with bad netcode and a memory leak. Since then, there has been little word, with the information you do get months apart. They also promised another playtest after the disaster in November, 'soon' and it hasn't materialised as of July 2026. I wish so hard that I could recommend this game in its current state, but I cannot.
sucks this game had to die lots of fun and movement was great gave battlefield 2042 a run for its money
