Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga

책에서 만화로, 만화에서 영화로, 영화에서 게임으로 이어지는 문학의 확장된 형태로서, 그것이 지니는 화려함에 따른 빛과 그림자의 역설에도 불구하고, 1편에 이어 이 작품은 게임이라는 형태의 양질의 방향성을 다시금 보여준다. 보다 성장한 만큼 더 어려운 시련과 고통을 세누아에게 안겨주지만, 그 시련은 이제 혼자만의 것이 아닌 모두를 위한 것이다. 그러한 희생과 숭고함의 여정을 책으로는 결코 이해하기 힘든 놀라운 체험을 통해, 세누아라는 인간의 고통을 느끼고 그녀를 응원하며 여정을 함께하게 된다. 그리고 그 여정을 통해, 정신병에 대한 오해와 편견을 넘어 한 인간으로서의 이해와 가치를 되새기게 된다. 비록 고대의 배경을 다루고 있지만, 다양한 현대 정신 질환에 고통 받고 있는 현대인들에게, 세누아의 모습은 그다지 먼 곳의 고통으로만 느껴지지 않는다. 동시에 9세기의 '저주'가 '조현병'이라는 이름을 얻고 질환으로서 인식되기까지 참으로 많은 시간이 흘렀다는 것과, 그렇게 흘러간 시간에 비해 여전히 우리는 이 질환에 대해 너무도 많은 것을 이해하지 못하고 있다는 현실이 아쉽게 느껴진다. 함께 살아가고 있는 많은 정신질환자들이 세누아처럼 현실을 이겨내고 극복해나갈 수 있기를 바라며, 많은 생각과 경험과 아쉬움을 동시에 남기게 한 이 작품에 감사와 참사를 보낸다.

most insane graphics i ever seen in a game, story was frkin amazing and senua’s journey hit hard af. only wish there was more combat like hellblade 1, but overall cinematic masterpiece !!

Great game series. story telling, voices, performance- the Hellblade series is worth a play

Recomendado al 100% si te gustó el primero y no tenés la cabeza quemada por los reels y shorts. Un juego muy contemplativo, de caminar, resolver algunos puzzles, apreciar el entorno, la narrativa y con algunos combates muy épicos. Dado a mi hardware lo jugué a 30 fps en gráficos medios, 1080p con intel xex en calidad, y se ve de puta madre. Para jugarlo a 30 fps y que no se sientan como 15 fps, configurarlo desde el panel de nvidia o amd y seleccionando el juego, poner el v-sync en adaptable, y fotogramas máximos a 30fps, y en el juego desactivar el v-sync, y van a ir como la seda.
