Reviews
The graphics are incredibly realistic and high-quality, and the story of the main character's fate is incredibly engaging. The game's atmosphere is created, which allows the player to feel the emotions she experiences, creating a goosebump-like effect. The combat is very enjoyable, perhaps not demanding, but spectacular and impressive. Overall, the whole thing is very cohesive and creates a cinematic effect, with cutscenes for interesting activities or puzzles to push the plot along.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A [Decent] cinematic psychosis-action game. Stunning visuals coupled with great audio kept the interest up throughout the game, while the lackluster combat system and story did the opposite. This does have a curse of a sequel, where the "uniqueness" that made the first game good is continued and is no longer as impressive as it was. Few major issues. Combat. The first game's biggest issue was meaningless combat sequences drowning out everything else, simple spam of minions to deal with, yet, the bosses, progression, and the story focus on fighting made the combat acceptable. Here, we have significantly better pacing on when to fight enemies, but a drastically simplified combat system. Fights are sequential, after defeating one enemy, the next one jumps in to fight 1v1. It does not evolve or progress, dodge/parry, heavy/light attacks from the start of the game til the end. Personally, great job on combat pacing, but an awful job on progression. Story. It is not as impactful and emotional as the first one, still alright, just not as interesting as the first one. Exploration. Same issue as in the first game, and more noticeable due to having less combat. I'm not sure how to solve this, either more linear or the opposite. Going right, realizing it's the main path, then returning to the shorter left path to pick up the Collectible, then going back to the main path - this kind of backtracking was awful. Missing those optional paths results in missing the "sequential" Collectible, meaning missing a piece of the story told via the Collectible, so it's an awful feeling when you realize you've missed one. However, those Collectibles are really not important; you don't need them, and you miss out on nothing from the main story. Nevertheless, the way they were put on your path was a constant distraction and backtracking that took away from the main story. Overall, the unique storytelling, visuals, and ASMR are the reasons to play this, it's more of a cinematic movie than a game. I'd recommend playing the first one first, if you liked it, then play the second one.
In the beginning, I found it a little bit too similar to the first part. But when the story picked up, I was drawn in again and really enjoyed it in its dark and twisted way. I like that we have companions in this one; it makes all the suffering… well, sufferable. Speaking of which, the word “darkness” is a bit overused, and the impact wears off a bit for me. When it comes to the puzzles, they are fairly easy to handle but never boring. I would be fine without the secret places to discover. It distracts a bit from the atmosphere, even though I like the stories that we get to hear. Just wish I would not see how many secrets I missed each time I unlock a new one. It makes my completionist impulses itch, and they really do not belong in this game. All in all, even though it cannot make up for the novelty of the first one, I liked the story and the little stories within better. Mostly because it is more about people and less about just one person going through… well, hell. But these are just my two cents. Recommend.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is a masterpiece of immersive storytelling — deeper, more emotional, and more cinematic than ever. Its breathtaking visuals, panoramic world-building, and hauntingly beautiful music create an experience that feels less like playing a game and more like living a myth.
if you love walking simulator with puzzle and fighting, i recommend this game. Both gameplay and graphic are INSANELY good, all part of the game mixed together perfectly so it give you some horror action vibes to enjoy. Truly, I'm investing to this game series
