If war is the closest we get to hell on earth, it's because Earth harbours the worst of demons: humankind. In an isolated country ravaged by infighting, discover the secrets of your past and deal with the repercussions of a mysterious calamity.

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

About
Hell is Us is a 3rd-person action-adventure game that combines intense melee combat with the thrill of exploration. Explore a semi-open world to find answers to your questions and face mysterious creatures all along your journey.
As well as the civil war dividing the country, the region is suffering from a mysterious calamity, which has given rise to supernatural creatures that no modern weapon can defeat. Your drone and sword from a different age are your faithful allies as you cut a path through lands infested with terrifying chimeras and try to unravel the mystery of their appearance.
No map, no compass, no quest markers: following your instincts is part of the adventure. Enjoy a unique experience that uses innovative writing and level design to let you make your own decisions and follow your instincts as you explore. Your discoveries are yours alone.
Swords, spears and axes: a wide range of weapons forged specially for fighting these supernatural creatures is available. You will need to learn how to fight these monsters and use your drone wisely to stay alive.
''The central theme of Hell is Us is that human violence is a perpetual cycle fueled by human emotions and passions.'' – Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, Creative Director

Very nice world building and they way they show atrocities performed by both ethnicities, the location design and music is also very cool. Sometimes, though, because your character cannot jump it can frustrate you because the "wall" is literally 2 bricks tall and the location is designed so that you jump through hoops to get there. The ending was abrupt for my taste, because all the questions that you've built up throughout the game about "the thing to stop calamity" are left unanswered. I don't mind the hooks for sequel but not answering any questions seems underwhelming. At this point i'd say they should have stopped at putting all the 4 keys in and shown a "see you in part 2" screen, otherwise it felt like the story was going at 50% speed and then suddenly we are at the climax without any answers.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game has a lot of flaws, but I can't help but love it. I'm gonna start with the "bad": - it gets repetitive. It either needed way more enemy variety, or to be cut in half. It doesn't help that by the time they
introduce the third enemy "level?/strength?",
my build was way too strong and I could play incredibly poorly and just tank all the damage. I still had fun, but I could see that I was just doing the same thing, fighting the same enemies over and over again. - It's a bit janky and buggy, but it's easy to get used to the jank, and honestly there's probably no souls/third person game that doesn't control poorly. When it comes to bugs, I got out of bounds multiple times and had to reload. I sent
a time loop guardian
out of bounds and had to reload. I got softlocked in a few areas because the weapon abilities somehow messed up the enemies so bad they froze high up in the sky where I couldn't reach them and had to reload. In the end, nothing that couldn't be fixed with reloading, but still a bit annoying. - The ending... and just, some things, like using the same voice actors for multiple people, make the game look.. I don't know, cheap? I know devs had a limited budget, just wanted to point it out. Now, it looks like I'm just bashing the game, but I felt like I needed to mention the flaws and not just praise it. It's also easier to mention the few bad things, than all the things it does well. And this game does a LOT of things really well: - The areas are sick, each with it's own unique colours, structures, story, secrets and so on. Just super fun to explore. Lake Cynon is one of my favourite maps out of all the video games I've ever played. - The music, oh the music. I'd get it on vinyl if I could. And not just the music, but the sound design in general is so peak. Everything from the enemies to
when you colllapse a timeloop
sounds incredible. And just, the ambience in general. I don't usually feel anything when playing, but there's been a few areas that made me feel genuinely uneasy, with the distant cries of people while subtle music plays and all that. - The outer wilds style exploration and puzzles, more games should do it. - And all the other things I didn't mention, like cool weapons with relics and spells and whatnot. Fun stuff. I don't know what it is about this game. I can see that it's nowhere near perfect, but I love it and it's honestly one of my favourites. It just hits different for some reason.
Movement is kinda janky, some people can pass by that, I can too but it's just more to add to the ♥♥♥♥ pile. In this game's current state, don't get it until they patch things, but as it's been out for half a year, I would've expected improvements already. So I had settings at only high, when very High and ultra were next. I only got a janky 50fps, and the 1% lows were making my screen constantly stutter. I didn't get any problems like crashing though, but I know other people have been experiencing the such. I don't recommend this game, not yet at least. I'll probably buy it again later though in hopes it's in a better state.
diferente de tudo que ja joguei, voce fica perdido, mas o jogo é linear e precisa ter muita atenção e ler tudo o que é possivel pra se guiar
I was not prepared for the depth of world-building this game has crafted. Let's start with the weakest parts- 1) This game's combat is not the strongest. It's not horrible, but it does get repetitive after a while. Enemy combat/AI does not vary so once you get their patterns down, you will become a walking god. 2) The depth of the RPG elements is relatively shallow. Pick a weapon, upgrade it to the max, and you're all set. No real need to pivot or change anything really. It's just there to give you access to special moves. 3) Static world design - you are the only thing moving in an entire country. It feels empty at times from a game stand point. In the world they'd designed, it would be anything but empty (sort of.) The strengths of this game - 1) The world-building is by far the best in class. The depth of historical information you encounter is incredible. For anyone who wanted to know the complete history of a fictional nation, they have it here. Beautiful crafted and interwoven throughout the game. And they make it relevant to the plot. 2) Holy Sethyris the emotional impact of this game will not be out done. Without spoiling anything, you come across a mass grave very early in the game and it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HITS you. Or that one room in Jova with that poor woman. Good grief man, grief and strife and war abounds. Hell is US. If you never play this game, take this away from this review: BE KIND & Compassionate & understanding. 3) The puzzles are light and interconnected. And the game does NOT hold your hand. Some may find this as a weakness; for me coming from Gothic 1 (not the remake), this game will definitely make you take notes, and back track and connect the dots. It's wonderful. Gone are quest markers, and yellow paint ledges. Figure it out, or struggle. And the struggle is part of the enjoyment, at least for me. 4) The music. It just... it's atmospheric in a way that very few games are for me. It is hard to quantify, but if you enjoy uneasy sounds, music and atmospheric melodies that blend genocide, suicide, war and the feeling of hopelessness, then you will enjoy this game. Closing thoughts: this game had the unfortunate circumstance of coming out the same day as Hollow Knight: Silk Song. And that really hurt this game's sales. But for those who come after (CO:33 reference), give this game a try. Fans of 3rd person action puzzlers will find something to enjoy, but the absolute agony and misery that pervades this fictional nation of Hadea will keep you coming back for more. -=j=-
It's a good souls game without map, without hints and history you can understand. for me it's a solid 8/10.
