About
Hell is Us is a 3rd-person action-adventure game that combines intense melee combat with the thrill of exploration. Explore a semi-open world to find answers to your questions and face mysterious creatures all along your journey.
As well as the civil war dividing the country, the region is suffering from a mysterious calamity, which has given rise to supernatural creatures that no modern weapon can defeat. Your drone and sword from a different age are your faithful allies as you cut a path through lands infested with terrifying chimeras and try to unravel the mystery of their appearance.
No map, no compass, no quest markers: following your instincts is part of the adventure. Enjoy a unique experience that uses innovative writing and level design to let you make your own decisions and follow your instincts as you explore. Your discoveries are yours alone.
Swords, spears and axes: a wide range of weapons forged specially for fighting these supernatural creatures is available. You will need to learn how to fight these monsters and use your drone wisely to stay alive.
''The central theme of Hell is Us is that human violence is a perpetual cycle fueled by human emotions and passions.'' – Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, Creative Director

Reviews
First off is this isnt really a bad game, it just grinds to a halt really fast. The game is essentially find a key to get to the next door to find another key, and when you get there guess what you need another key. Combat is fun and engaging until you get the hang of it then starts to feel like a chore. The story is interesting and makes you want to dive into then you do and you cant tell whats part of the story and whats just filler. At times i feel like they put a puzzles in places just so that they can slow you down, not because it actually added any depth to the game. 2.5/5
The fact Nacon got Elias Toufexis to voice the main protagonist made this an instant buy for me. We may never get another Deus Ex, but his voice acting is top notch. Sometimes simple things like quality voice acting can really make a game. I have been thoroughly enjoying this game, definitely recommend if you're fan of Dark souls or the Deus Ex series “Sometimes, you just have to let go... and embrace what you've become.”

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The story is really good, gameplay is nice but could be better, if you want a story where you have to make the link yourself and a game that don't take you for a retarded kid then it's for you, if you want a riche gameplay you may pass tbh, the puzzle are pretty nice, the mood in this game is truly amazing
Will definitely finish the game at least once. Play it more like Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice than a souls-like because enemy design is boring.
Very nice
good for story, difficult puzzles, and decent combat. if there was more enemy diversity and actual souls style bosses i think this would be GOTY. Only negative i can say about this game is i get a lot of crashes but its still worth playing out
so far i didn't complete the game because there is much to explore and iam writing down this review so that you can have an option to consider this game on sale for 12$ : iam not gonna lie it's very different and weird game i played so far ,it's souls-like and not ,very weird background music it's like your playing under water , as for the world is very gorgeous , fights are interesting ,story takes sometimes to understand a bit ,graphics are crisp , rich puzzle game in the way that you might pick up an item in an area then go to another area to solve the puzzle(in another way if you found something in the beginning that you don't have it's item to solve just don't panic and explore and give sometime because you're gonna get it) ,there is no map in the game all you can do is explore; first i found it bothering but i gave it a little time to adapt , there is no mission to view and to know where is next and what ,this game about explore explore and explore , i recommend this game for 12$ absolutely !!
Nms no hay mapa y eso en que me afecta asi de perdido estoy por ella V....
Очень интересная игра
At first the game drew me in with great graphics and interesting worldbuilding. I also love the deeply customisable difficulty level and the puzzles are really interesting. But for a combat heavy game the combat is just not good. Most of your hardes opponents are abstract geometrical shapes and it's really hard to figure out which of their animations is what kind of an attack. There seem to be only a few different enemies in the game, the variety is from some of them being stronger or a combination of them being ganged together and all spamming attacks on you from different sides. There are a wide variety of different usable items but if you die, you lose the item and are worse off than you started. With default (and even hard) difficulty the enemies don't respawn immediately after dying but you are heavily discouraged from experimenting in boss fights, unless you want to lose your items. On the other hand, most fights are not that hard to win by spamming a few attacks and dodging/blocking. So in short, better story than most soulslikes, but much worse combat as well.
