This leans heavily on Square Enix combat and story telling so very engaging in those terms. It's not the best as far as a farming sim but certainly worth playing if you enjoy a complex story and unique characters.
Absolutely loved this game! The approach to farming was unique and refreshing. I loved having a reason to cook new dishes. And the story was really well written. I just wish they had voice acting and didn't use generic npcs for the side quests. The side quests were actually quite good, it was just hard to take as seriously when it was a faceless npc. But overall an excellent game and totally worth trying out! I hope Square Enix greenlights another entry in the series and makes it even better!

nice easy adventure game with decent farming mechanics
If you are looking at this game as a Farm Simulator then this game will disappoint you BUT as a basic RPG then YES go for it its fun. The Most Dissapointed aspect of the game is that the farm that you get at the beginning of the game is just window dressing and no event is tied to the 4 months of the year. But everything else is either really good to OK at best.
这游戏非常的符合我做为jrpg玩家的口味。优美的音乐、风格建筑、可以在宁静舒适的城市探索 又有热血的战斗。而且加入农耕和时间系统后，会让我平时散漫的游戏方式变得更积极/紧凑，很多玩家认为没语音是败点，但是我认为这反而让我有更多想象空间/也减少浪费时间听语音，虽然我知道这很个人。游戏价格原价属实是贵了，但是目前五十八仙折扣确实值得一试。
I first got this game for my switch. Saw that it was 50% off on Steam and bought it. Please buy it for PC or an actual console. It's a beautiful game with a simple story, fun farming and lots of micro challenges for you to keep track of. I didn't complete it on my switch but quickly caught up to one year on PC. (Accidentally broke my right joystick on my switch and was sad I wouldnt be able to play anymore.) Some small DLC with more customization options would be great but overall; get this game if it's on sale and you love farming sims with some fun combat.

I have spent too much time on reddit, and downgrading and upgrading...uninstalling and reinstalling, moving the files over from one hard drive to another...only to hit the play button and get on a black screen that doesnt load a game at all. I have less than 20 minutes on this game BECAUSE I cant even load it on this computer or my laptop. My friend gets stuck on a black screen when he uses his steam deck on specific chapters??? Nah, for 60 bucks I expected better. And I have troubleshoot the crap out of this. If I can run games like The Finals (with their own code being issues) and Dune awakening....You'd think I would be able to run a single player game...but I cant even load up the "NEW GAME" option...tf?
剧情好多。。剧情太多了还不能跳过，我每次一边玩这个游戏还要一边开一个开罗玩，谁懂，支线剧情也要看剧情，虽说是有点同类型的游戏，个人更喜欢符文工房~打折的可以入，感觉根本不需要养鸡和羊，不如直接买鸡蛋和牛奶，打5折可以入吧
Very chill game, beautiful relaxing music. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and even though I have basically finished the story, I am still playing. I wish there had been more voice acting, which for me made it a little hard to get into the game at first but once the story looped me in that became less of a con. SquareE still makes the most beautiful games!
