I was lucky enough to play through this game with a friend of mine and we both had an amazing time. We were hooked after playing the demo (no multiplayer) and were surprised at the fairness of the game. Many people including myself get angry at so called "rage games", but I never found myself filled with rage at this game. The controls were nicely done, felt appropriate and most importantly fun. We were able to complete this game on all 3 modes in 10 hours which was filled with many stabbings and other shenanigans. The only downside for this game is the high asking price at 16 dollars. I think the game has genuine passion and care from the developers, which is why I would recommend to try this game for a fun unique experience. PS. Play the demo first.
Scratches the itch of any precision platformer enthusiast. Beating a difficult level never felt so good.
Please add content to this game... additional multiplayer features would be much appreciated
Happenlance takes what makes "Getting Over It" so frustrating and flips it into something enjoyable. The addition of thought through puzzles and rewarding checkpoints is objectively why I'll choose this over Getting Over It if you are just looking to have a good time. Although I decided to refund the game, I would still recommend this to anyone who's interested. Personally I'm not too keen on the Getting Over It type titles, I only wanted to give this one a try because I found the art style and slightly tweaked game mechanics working great together.
I hate this game. Highly recommend.
It's a in depth step up from Getting over it, taking on the familiar style and improving it 100x. It adds puzzles, enemies, and movement. It also removes all of the unsatisfying controls and gives you the ability to move with your legs which help you with you moving in the air, Try the demo and then buy the game if you think it's good for you.
This game, is a really tough platformer, if you're into those kinds of things. It's like getting over it, if the controls weren't horrible. Still very hard though, and tons of fun for anyone who likes to put in the time to difficult platformers. However, this is a world class PvP game, with amazing netcode, and hours of endless fun if you've got any friends. I'd love to see some kind of basic level editor, respawning crates on the PvP arena where you fall and die. Or just more PvP arenas where you can die in pits. Because that's the coolest form of killing the other player. It'd also be awesome if more things from the main game could be in arena's, like the boulders, breakable bridges and things. Maybe some arena's that are bigger than just a single square. What I'm saying is, I love the PvP and I want more of it. If you like good games, this game is worth your time. Just buy it.
This is an awesome game if you like physics challenging games. I has a bug that makes playing multiplayer online impossible. But it does not look like a bit bug. Im sure that devs would easily fix that soon. 9/10 would recommend. multiplayer currently not playable.
It's fun, but can make u nerdrage as well after a period of time.
