Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoy roguelite games, i enjoy card-driven games and action-RPGs. This game has all of it and i really wanted to enjoy it. The premise is very promising and the game starts off actually interesting and beating minor bosses felt rewarding. After a while i noticed that fights, monsters and items become very repetitive and RNG is absolutely massive in this game and the game plays you more than you play the game. If you manage to collect an effective set of items before you encounter the boss depends only on RNG. There is very little you can do to influence your build during a short run. I worked my way with a lot of cursing, frustration and rage quitting to the final boss and that's where the game finally became unbearable. I just lost all motivation to do runs over and over again until i have a viable build with non-crippling curses and surviving waves of annoying repetitive enemies. There are better games doing what this game tries to achieve. Don't waste your time.

One of the greatest game yet.
I played this game for quite a while and although I liked the general concept of it I find it extremely bad that every advance of your gameplay is determined by sheer luck and good fortune. When I played Hand of Fate 2 they solved this problem by adding items and diverse equipement that could alter your probabilities and help with cards, dice and pendulum (the only one that is somehow affected by your skill) however, in this game you just have to be extremely lucky to get a success card or several success cards in order to progress through events, in the contrary you'll have to start over again and hope that you get lucky enough. Not necessarily a bad game but this problem ruins a lot of sessions and can be absolutely frustrating.
Even almost a decade on this game felt very unique and there's no other game I've played that mixed roguelike deckbuilding and third person arkham style fighting with it. I would say it does both of those things good and overall it is just a "good" game.
This is one of those reviews where a Yes is too positive and a No is too negative, but I'm going to have to go with Not Recommended. There's a lot to love about the game but the combination of both having to deal with worsening odds (in combat particularly) while wrangling the undercooked fighting mechanics is just an absolute killjoy.
I want to like this game but even after coming back to it, it just... gets tiring so quick. The combat is like a very clunky version of Arkham/Assassin's Creed. You got an attack, a counter, shield break, and a dodge. Unlike Arkham, you can't counter two enemies at once, and also if you try to counter a ranged attack at point blank, it just hits you anyways. Also you don't control the camera, it's fixed. That's bad for a 3D melee game. The main issue is that the clunky combat is roughly half of the game, and it takes a LONG time, way longer than the actual card/event part. This makes things get REALLY grating REALLY fast when you're on your 8th King of Dust + Queen of Dust fight in the same run. The enemy variety is pretty small, and combat is too common for how frequently and lengthy it is. But the thing is, the non-combat part is actually pretty interesting at times. Unlocking new stuff for each run and trying out new items. I think the game might've been improved if you could unlock later parts of the event in the same run, rather than having to wait to the end of the run to unlock the next part, but it's minor. The other main issue, someone else put best: The swing of RNG feels a bit unbalanced in this game. Bad luck SHREDS you and good luck just makes combat a bit easier until the bad luck puts you near deaths door. Unlike, say, Hades where the worst luck just means hard enemies or not-ideal buffs that you can power through with skill, bad luck in Hand of Fate actually cripples or straight kills you with random event cards. The combat tends to be one of the least dangerous parts. I ended up finding the best items were weapons that could heal you IN fights to offset the unavoidable damage i'd take OUTSIDE the fights. Another review mentioned that strength throughout the game feels flat and really doesn't seem to increase, and this is true. I believe this is because this game has almost NO SYNERGY between items. At most maybe you can get a blessing that buffs healing and a weapon that heals you, but most of the items and powers are very much standalone things. Your power will not scale as you get more things, rather you'll generally just get side-blessings that do their own special thing while the enemies keep increasing in numbers. There is an entire skeleton king set with a Helmet, Shield, and Sword. None of these items synergize with each other. They all do completely different things with 0 overlap. This just makes it so that between slow, annoying combat that happens too much and almost uncontrollable bad events trying to kill you, the game wears you down to the point it stops being fun before the 10 hour point. By then, you feel like you're doing the same thing over and over just trying to find those nuggets of hidden new events, but it just isn't worth it anymore. I want to like this game, but it's rough and repetitive.
