Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Hand of Fate 2 follows in the foot steps of its predecessor and earns a recommendation from me. The narrator returns, and the gameplay has the same adventure, roguelike, and rpg elements. The narrator's game grows through the same mechanisms. There are story and endless modes. You attain gear, wealth, and blessings. The random elements can be overcome with skill. The combat is simple and in my opinion slightly worse. The gameplay remains direct. You attack 1 opponent and are attacked by 1 opponent at a time. Encounters are longer. There are basic attacks, counter attacks, interrupts, and artifacts for offense and armor, dodging, parries, and shield blocks for defense. Hand of Fate 2 is okay. It's overpriced at $30, grindy, and easily becomes repetitive. The addition of companions is an improvement (in and out of combat). The new dice, pendulum, and wheel minigames add much needed variety to the challenges. There is more female representation, and your character is customizable now. Enemy decks have been overhauled, and they incorporated the changes into the story. I'd recommend picking up this game at $15 or less on sale.

When I started playing the game I was curiousm but I felt it was still "light" on it´s core gameplay... initially. However, I have to say that I got hooked to finish it, and did it over a long time (the way I enjoy gaming :) ) Interesting formula of mixed mini-games that are triggered by event cards. Cards are hidden in the board, and you reveal them one by one and solving each event before continue. You navigate the board game of cards with a token/avatar of you, and solve those events with certain decisions or by winning/loosing the mini-games. Your character relies on it´s health, food and money to survive each chapter and try to solve each one in different ways. The objectives are different per chapter. There is a preparation phase where you select a companion, weapons, possible events to encounter and some specific resources. By solving each chapter you unlock further weapons, events, armor, items and more resources that can be used further on other chapters. The minigames may include combat, dices, a pendulum to stop, traps, card tricks, etc They are not very deep on their own, but they have interesting variations. Items make important differences when facing those mini-games to avoid falling into "pure luck" outcomes. The entire game is not very deep in complexity and the advantage of that is that you get it how to play early. The only downside that I can mention is that even if prepared with the adequate set of items/encounters you will fail sometimes against pure luck, but in the end is not that critical as you can recover over other encounters too. The game increases difficulty by adding more limitations, curses, and punishing you in hard ways to make you fail at some point. For example the combat is not difficult to understand, but the game will put you many times with some stronger enemies in situations that maybe you are already hurt after some previous bad encounters. So it is a struggle many times, but well planned you can balance things much better. Therefore you may end up re-starting the chapters choosing better options, is ok. The game is made in unity and works perfect in VR with mods (VorpX works wonders). I played sometimes in normal 2D and sometimes in glorious 3D stereo from VR, it looks great !! it was fun 8.5/10
This is a sequel done right. It takes everything I love about the first game and expands upon it, more enemies for combat, more cards for encounters, more ways to interact with the cards than just the one "shuffle around to find the success" mechanic with some new ones added in which are also based on skill, and a few on luck. Overall highly recommended for those who love unique card games.
This is a good game, however, what you get out of it will vary on your tolerance for RNG mechanics. The game is a roguelike deck building game with action combat, player choice, and a lot of text. The writing is good so if you do not mind reading a lot you will find it engaging. There are over 20 campaign scenarios including additional challenges and an endless mode. Each story is unique and well written with a lot of interesting scenarios and outcomes that you build out of the cards you collect. The narrator is one of my favorite parts of the game and the story revolves around you sitting in his wagon as he deals the cards to your adventure. His personality and dialogue is interesting, and I liked hearing what he has to say out of every interaction within the game. The further you get the more cards you unlock which add onto your equipment, items, story opportunities, etc. The game has a heavy focus on RNG so you play a lot of 'chance' games such as throwing dice and picking the correct card. There is a lot of frustration in the later campaigns but when things go your way it is a nice feeling. Your first impression may be that the game is easy but as you progress towards the later levels you will realize just how difficult it gets. It will get to the point where you think it is unfair and want to uninstall it. I think that is part of the fun though and it makes the good outcomes all the more rewarding. My least favorite aspect is the combat because it gets tiring. It is not that deep and when there are a lot of enemies in such a small arena it gets difficult to manage. The campaigns that are combat heavy are the ones that I like the least. I just want to get the fight over with so I can get back to the story that is unfolding. If the premise of the game sounds interesting then I think you will enjoy it.
Definitely. An old game but a good game. Especially if you are a fan of adventures, games of chance, and some skill based challenges. A good selection of stories too, very varied.

Not a bad game but it has some really annoying flaws, especially when you reach late game. The first 30 hours are fun, but it starts to become painful. 1.Combat is repetitive and boring. Each battle you have to kill like 20 enemies while each one of them takes like forever to kill 2.Yes there are cool weapons and gears, but you need to draw them first with rng, after that you need to pay a lot of gold/fame to get. The fact is 90% of the time you are stuck with the basic useless weapon that hit like an ant biting your arm. 3.There are some cool artifacts which is somehow enjoyable to use but they decided to give them a limited use. What they should do is remove all these restriction and make enemies more challenging not dumbing down on both sides 4.The real challenge from this game are the gambits----- which is probably the thing people hated the most. There are dice, precision, chance and wheel. Dice is pure rng but they give alot of items to increase the odds so I think it is fine, precision and wheel is somehow doable but chance card gambit, OMG that ♥♥♥♥ is impossible to play, if I can trace the card with my eyes I could probably earn millions at the casino. And the items that is supposed to help with this gambit are mostly useless, unlike the dice gambit 5.Why can't I check my new earned card's abilities? Why do I need to put all my new cards with a "?" on a new game to check how do they work? You have to know it takes rng to draw a specific card, it means gaining every new card I'll have to put them in a new game and waste a lot of time to get them one by one by rng just to know what they do!! What is the point of wasting players' time? 6.This game doesn't test your deckbuilding skills, your action control skills, it test your memorize skill more than anything. Each encounter card has a small story inside, and you have to memorize every dialogue choice in it to get the specific rewards you want. It doesn't seem hard at first but when you include 100+ encounter card with 100 small chapters in it, it is almost impossible to memorize everyone of them! Just highlight every choice and their rewards during those encounters! You don't need to read them everytime you draw the same card!!! 7.The worst part of combat is the auto target system, it sucks you to hit your target automatically like magnet which screw you up pretty bad in big fights that you sometimes hit the B guy while you wanted to aim for the A guy. Also WTF is happening on the combat priority? Why is sometimes I'm invincible during special attack and sometimes I take damage?
