I played Hammerwatch and Heroes of Hammerwatch, loved both, this one is so much worse I couldn't even finish. Its not very clear what you have to do, you are lost, everything feels meaningless, more mechanics but most of them feel irrelevant, graphics are worse (in my opinion)... I just didn't see a reason to keep playing
Its so good. Its really too bad more people don't play this game.
Lost all my progress, because I glitched out of the map.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

E' completamente diverso dal primo. Se non hai giocato il primo, allora meglio che giochi ad altro. Se hai già giocato al primo, allora meglio che giochi ad altro.
Always been a fan of Hammerwatch and Heroes of Hammerwatch. I also love RPGs. This game is both! I like the continuation of the story. I always wondered how the story would turn out after playing Hammerwatch, playing this made the story feel truly fulfilled. Storywise and Franchisewise 10/10. The game mechanics obviously aren´t a Hack and Slash, Dungeon Crawler, Roguelike/Roguelite. Which is fine to me, as the RPG mechanics replaced those. The gameplay is still really fun though, as you have to figure out your own build. Gameplay 10/10. And the music is top tier as every other Hammerwatch game. I listen to this in my free time. Music 10/10.

It's a fun game, but wait for a sale. I've taken a rogue and a ranger to level 10 (just past tutorial island) and I've really enjoyed the build diversity already. It looks to me like there are several, meaningfully-divergent ways to play each class. There's not a ton of direction and the dungeons can feel a bit sprawling at times, but I enjoyed it just because the overall vibe is a little old school. I'm not very far, but I've gotten more than my $5 out of it. Two notes: - The day/night cycle sucks. It's not clear when people wake up and you have to do math every time you sleep. - If you're digging for that dang horse toy on multiplayer, I think the host is the only one that can successfully find it.
An sich nicht schlecht, aber ein lokaler coop wie im ersten teil und bessere übersicht wo die quests abgeschlossen werden können wären sehr wünschenswert gewesen.
The game dosen't deserve it's mixed rating, which in part seem to be only because it's not like other games in the series. Combat feels stisfying, music and sounds are nice with a few really good tracks, visuals are pleasant, there's a bit of humor and all in all I had a lot of fun with it in co-op. Maybe for solo play it isn't as fun but I felt engaged in just slaying enemies. Don't get me wrong, it's a bit rough around the edges and IMHO dosen't worth the full price but if you get it on sale with a friend or two you may enjoy it much like I did :)
10/10 superfun and different game than the rest, with a tone of content. W
