muddy graphics and runs like sh*t

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Not sure why i bought this again, a nostalgia kick i got sucked into the hype again!, part of me wanted this to be something more, sure its the same game and yes it does look very pretty (apart from cortana ♥♥♥♥ knows what happened to her) i dont know, i really dont know i feel like i have wasted 49.99 on trying to recreate that feeling, i felt back in 2002. Wish steam had a Meh Button.
I've played mods on MCC better than this garbage that have more content. Halo 5 campaign was better than this crap. Bonus missions are stupid too, Highly recommend to turn the audio down and put your favorite music on instead. I completed the game on LASO and to be honest it's definitely the easiest game of the bunch. The AI is actually terrible too. I feel bad for you if this is your first Halo title. Its sorry that people got paid to animate parts of the game and just gave up animating certain things like the hog swapping seats is so ridiculous. Mixed reviews on steam is so misleading too, it should be mostly negative. I don't recommend paying for this game just play it through Game Pass. My Dad loves Halo CE, we played the original a lot together. This game is definitely the worst remake/remaster of a halo campaign of all time.
Just play the original. Better yet the Ruby's rebalance mod. Crazy how AI is worse than a game made 25 years ago.
Gameplay and Graphics are good I cant hate. But is it really worth paying full retail price of a brand new game for a second remaster of a 20+ year old game? No. Especially when you remember that Halo was hijacked by a bunch of woke theater kids, who made the game less about the things that made Halo cool, and more about pushing an agenda that back fired in the most spectacular way. Hence why they had to rebrand themselves from 343 to Halo Studios. It's almost like they realized that nobody cares about their idiotic virtue signaling when they were shoving minority armor sets down our throats in Halo infinite, and were like. "Hey guys we're totally not trying to brainwash new halo fans into voting Democrat, and to prove it we are going to resell the same story that you already paid to experience twice. Only this time Sgt Johnson is actually going to be played by a black guy. Isn't that awesome?!" No it's not. Nobody gave a ♥♥♥♥ then. Nobody gives a ♥♥♥♥ now.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my Franchise is ruined.
Tldr; it's alright, imo not worth the money Figured I'd start with the positives:

some level design elements are deinfitely superior to the orignal
especially the warthog run

number of skulls adds to replayability
the 3 orignial prequel levels have intersting story/lore elements
drivable wraiths, hijack abilities
warthogs can be blown up
the warthog run makes way more sense layout wise compared to the original
some new usable weapons
things I didn't feel particularly strong about either way:

stylistic changes to characters and cutscenes
stylistic changes to weapon and level design (some good some bad overall net neutral imo)
okay and now for what I didn't like:

dialogue and story are only good because they're pulled from the orignal, no new ideas there
visually too brightly coloured, too much "pop" there's no gritiness to it. Makes it feel like a cheap arcade game

compared to the original, the engineering section of The Maw is way too easy. It feels like the game is holding your hand as you try and destabilize the engine cores. The orignal required way more timing and precision skill to make it work

60 round mag AR not the default
some sections of levels where in the original required creative workarounds are now just doable with no effort, for example
the Silent Cartographer has a section where orginally you couldn't drive a warthog up to the hunters because of a tree unless you abused the physics engine. This version there's no tree, makes it much less fun

marines still can't drive. I know they couldn't in the orignal but c'mon with all the other additions this would've been nice
no split screen co-op
no health pack mechanic, taking damage no longer feel permanent Overall, if this was a completely original game I think it would've been much better received. Problem is that it's not, and compared to the original campaign evolved it's just okay. The effort into this game would've been much better spent making a new Halo, and that's what frustrates me the most. There's enough good elements in this game that makes me believe it's possible for a new game to be actually good, instead of what we've been getting; crummy storylines (halo 4, halo 5), pay-to-win (halo 5), beta builds (infinite) and remakes (this damn game). If Microsoft can't get their act together, give this franchise to someone who can build a good freaking game instead of continuing to tank it.
This is the same chubby goth tomboy you met a while back. But, some things are different about her this time. It's great if you like some of her changes, and it's perfectly fine if you don't like some of her changes, but you're totally lying if you're saying she's not hot anymore.
