Take The Shape of Evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbors as a Hero of Haddonfield in Halloween, the ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox.
As Michael, players wear the mask, become the Boogeyman, and stalk innocent residents with relentless obsession. Utilizing a nightmarish array of abilities, Michael leverages shadows and stealth to satisfy his bloodthirst. This doesn’t mean Haddonfield is going down without a fight. Frightened townsfolk will call the local authorities and even fight back when threatened, incentivizing Michael to avoid detection. And for the first time ever, fans of the transformative original film will have the option to witness the haunting narrative events surrounding "The Night He Came Home" through the eyes of Michael Myers in a standalone singleplayer story mode.
As a Hero of Haddonfield, it’s your job to alert the residents of Haddonfield to the impending evil and help them escape before falling victim to Michael’s unyielding pursuit. In dynamic and ever-changing 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer matches, hero players must arm themselves with everyday household items, weapons, and knowledge to combat an unpredictable and unkillable enemy. Convincing townsfolk and contacting the police will lead to increasingly powerful and thorough neighborhood patrols. To even the odds, you can command and equip NPCs with weapons to outsmart or even overpower The Shape, providing precious windows for escape.
This immersive horror sandbox is powered by Unreal Engine 5 to deliver engaging and dynamic gameplay systems, life-like NPCs, hauntingly realistic visuals, cinema-quality lighting, and endless scares for you and your friends. Asymmetrical horror comes home in Halloween.

A little laggy at times but definitely worth it
OK.. idk if this game will have the same fate as F13 but I hope it will last for at least 1 year.

please stay away from buying this game the developers need to go hungry!! I have bought this game for three other people gave this team of developers 180 dollars total what a waste of money on my end i would expect this from game such as "how to fish" and "schedule one" This game at a price point of 60 is ridiculous, and will never give this team of laziness and blindness anymore of my money i wrote down all of the developers name in my death note Especially John carpenter and Malek akkad.
希望后期有优化,太多bug了,和我一样是IP粉可以买,还有玩人能不能不要开地窖和门就自己跑了,居民都不管了,这游戏在中国互联网算小火了一点,加油吧
Went into the game not knowing how to do a damn thing, the NPC's are buggy and dont follow you and its mini game and escort simulator. Constantly felt lost and looking for items and never finding an exit. Animations bugs and just feels one sided. Getting icons as the police officers and not getting prompts for anything. Its just a mess of a game....
I was so hyped when I saw the trailers and gameplays at PAX East and now when I can play the game myself I feel... that I got what I wanted! Killing bots in many ways is satisfying, the graphics and animations are smooth and if you're a true fan of the franchise, you will never be bored. Stalking alone, both in third and first person, is fun. Especially when the civilians are completely unaware. Shape Jump is truly great for jumpscares. You feel like Myers from the movies you like. My only issues with the game is that it doesn't support my native language (I'm a Pole) and that you can't disable the timer in private matches, but I think the latter is going to be fixed soon.
A great follow up to Friday the 13th. Some jank but so fun! let's keep it alive!
It's fun, but lacks any "original" content feel that you couldn't get off F13, TCM, Killer Klownz.... they just meshed all the content designed for the other games together into one and called it a day.
Really fun and its great you can still get XP in private match with friends
