Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

this is the best fighting game ever, i love it. very cool and realistic, too.
this game deprived me of everything i had in it, which was 8 k money, full baron equipment and many weapons that i crafted. I understand that its still an early access, and i had a suspicion that it was about to happen since this game had already been crashing many times, so, like i said: i felt like it was only a matter of time before something like this happenes. Its still very upsetting. I cant give a "no" to this game cause i know it has a lot of potential, but once again, that was hard, and, to be fair, i dont really want to play the progression mode anymore. I mean it was fun when i had almost everything in it, and that i got it all by myself, but the keyword is "almost" everything. Now that i dont have anything AND that i have already completed this progression mode so im familiar with many bugs it has and how painful it is sometimes to play it, i just dont feel like i want to go through this again. The amount of times this game crashed when i nearly completed one segment of the game which led to restart all over again just keeps me away from playing it again, and i wish i could blame this on my hardware, but i cant because the problem isnt in it, very sad :(
fun but does kinda need a beefy pc if you want good performance

Fun unique combat
It's a really good game. Half Sword has something that was missing in the Kingdom Come Deliverance series regarding sword fighting. If someone likes medieval armor and weapons, they can easily design their own weapon that suits them, just like with armors. Creativity is key
An amazing concept and super fun, after all the patches, the game has now become extremely good, AI is getting better and better, so is performance. Devs are really putting up some good work here.
