Valve excelled on its first attempt, creating its own universe and an improbable hero accompanied by his faithful crowbar. Inevitably, the game shows its age through the jankiness and clunkiness of its engine. At times, certain objects become stuck or fail to function properly, and some movements can be not optimal, but never to the point of seriously degrading the experience. The gunplay is excellent, featuring precise weapons and true accuracy for players with a steady hand, allowing you to consistently hit enemies' weak points and eliminate them efficiently. The game frequently offers moments of environmental interaction, showcasing the capabilities of its engine and resulting in memorable sequences. Half-Life is not a flawless game. It has its minor shortcomings, but it undoubtedly deserves its reputation as one of the most beloved PC games of all time.
