Yo Calhoun, isn't your shift ended yet? Yes Dr. Rosenberg, but it is a blue shift today. I will have to wait for the opposing force finish the decaying progress until I can go to my home and have an episode or two of my favorite show.

i wanna draw barney calhoun wasted as ♥♥♥♥
i think it is pretty good! honestly the difficult was much more fair than opposing force. as good as the main game i'd say. its a little short but that's okay with me.
While Blue Shift doesn't really expand upon the gameplay found in Half-Life's base game, it is more Half-Life goodness. The plot while pretty basic is a nice enough set up to give you a reason to see things from a new perspective. Playing as Barney, the security officer you see in the first part of the original game, you get to get a feel for what is was like for a lot of grunts in Black Mesa during the whole disaster. A nice lil romp thru the labs and a short bit of Xen exploration (thank god). I'd say this one is also worth experiencing, but probably only for one playthrough as you really don't get anything new to play with compared to Opposing Force.

A great expansion to the original Half-Life. Reaches some of the same highs as Opposing Force, but lacking in original weapons and enemies. The story and NPC interactions are prototypical of Half-Life 2 and the new areas of the facility as well as the new characters make it well worth the time.
