I initially had trouble as the inputs were bugged for this game which barred me from playing what seems like a really cool and fun zombies game. The dev was super quick to respond to me and step by step helped me fix this issue and even followed up with me to make sure it worked! Absolutely recommend this game and any future games the dev may come out with.
Half Alive > Call of Duty I would recommend adding sex, otherwise fantastic game with the fellas.
BattleBit meets Call Of Duty Zombies. This well designed zombie FPS game proves that in order to create a well thought out, interesting game, you don't need to be a AAA rated game studio. Although this game is still in its early stages of release, the developer(s) have made something that's incredibly stable and genuinely fun to play. Im excited to see what the future brings for Half Alive. Great job chaps.
Even tho I don't really play FPS games, I enjoyed this one. Of course it requires more polishing and bug fixing, but it's only the beginning and time will show what a great game it will become.
After seeing the game being promoted on TikTok, I decided to give it a go. For a 1.1 release it is just not worth it in the current state. Even tho I love the graphics, everything else is pretty much not in a great shape. Zombie get stuck on edges or spawn in items and you have to search the map until they bug out of it and attack you. The gun sounds are alright, but there is zero ambient sound. The zombies don't make a sound while moving, just a random grunt when really close to you. You as a character sound like you are running in high heels most of the time. Also, the melee attack has no sound either. The literal invisible walls which you can see when you get too close are a weird addition. And the zombie spawns being visible is weird. Zombies just appearing out of thin air makes no sense. And the doggos are bugged even more with zero sounds and pathfinding. I won't refund the game and I hope that the game will get fixed because it has potential of being a low poly cod zombies round based game, but at the current state, it's a big no. Keep working on it man. A lot. 3/10 (and this is this high just because I hope it's gonna get fixed)
bon le jeux et bien bon gameplay petit souci qui vont etre corriger tres a l'ecoute incroyable continuez ainsi votre jeux et sublime
This game is really sweet and fun. It’s just a nice, indie zombie shooter that’s fun to mess around in. My favourite thing has to be the guns. The sound design for them is really nice and they really feel like they pack a punch. It feels satisfying to mow down zombies. The numbers that pop up on every hit, to indicate how much money you earn from it, also adds to this experience and I like that it’s there. The models look really good for the artstyle the game goes with. There’s a lot of nice detail on the weapons and the shooting audio is definitely my favourite part. There is a huge amount of different models for the zombies too, with different outfits. They have tall and short zombies. Some run and some don’t, which varies the gameplay nicely. The maps seem really fun with nice scenery and different themes. The maps are quite diverse in structure and require different strategies to succeed, which I like. I do have some feedback too. The main issue I’ve had with this game so far are the bugs. There are only 2 I found that are really game breaking: One being input delay. Pressing shift to run doesn’t always work. The input delay seems pretty inconsistent sometimes which can get annoying if you’re trying to run from the zombies. Other buttons like crouching, sliding, shooting or switching weapons don’t always respond instantly, which can get quite frustrating. I am of the opinion that this game will feel a lot smoother if issue is addressed. Another bug I’ve found is that it appears you an press 5 to pull out some grenades. But the grenades don’t work, you can’t seem to use them. It also softlocks you because you cannot switch back to your other weapons after pressing 5. So you either have to restart the level or die. I assume (and hope) that this will be fixed in a future update. Some other feedback: I would like it if switching weapons was a little faster. Usually in shooter games it’s designed so switching to a secondary weapon is faster than reloading, but in this game that doesn’t seem to be the case. I think it would be a nice addition if switching weapons in the middle of a fight was more viable by just making it faster. The only other thing I want to comment on is the text in this game: there are a lot of grammatical errors. Most notable in the tutorial. This isn’t too much of an issue since it’s comprehensible, but it is noticeable. I assume the creator isn’t natively English, which is perfectly fine since I’m not either and I can forgive this kind of error. But I would suggest to have these texts checked by someone and edited in the future to make the game look more polished. I can see this game was made with a lot of love and passion. And I genuinely had a fun time playing it. If the bugs are addressed and the game gets more polish, I really see this become successful in the future. I also find the 5 euro price tag pretty reasonable for what the game gives you. The only thing this game needs is just more updates and polish <3
Consept is great black ops1 zombies style gameplay, but too many bugs. Sometimes can't shoot/run. Zombies get stuck. They also spawn from 2 places only atlest in bank map. Its roblox zombies, it would be super fun without the bugs.
If you like battlebit and call of duty zombies this is the game for you. Lots of weapons and maps to choose from. Dev actually listens to any suggestions you have.
I don't know what to say. First I thought it was cool and funny. But after sometime in the Game it was, yeah, janky. It is hard to explain. If you throw a grenade to zombies it will yeet back to you. I saw it on TikTok and i wanted to give this game a chance. It has potential, but it need fine tuning. And the HUD in the pictures of the Store page are not the same as in the Game.
