Everything I loved about the first game and more
Absolutely amazing game, came after the playthrough of Hades 1. I like that when you played the first game you get the story with more deepened meaning, but it is not essential at all to start from the Hades 2. Developers took all the best things from the first game, even added on top of that and afterwards all the things added with the new zones, double the length of story and zones, added new twists etc. Weapons are really unique, all the things from music, graphics, characters, all the things you can you is beyond what I have expected. Just have to say thanks for this and it shows that even with a smaller studio you can make 11/10 game and even out-do yourself from the first game.
I'm so obsessed with these games. Hades I and Hades II are both masterpieces. They're both works of art and both deserve monumental success. I wish more devs would put their hearts into their games like these ones do.
Amazing game and met my very high expectations! I'm a big fan of Hades, and I had just as much fun as I did when I was playing Hades. The achievements were also fun to hunt, and worth every minute played since we also progress the story at the same time. It felt very rewarding, and certain decorations are unlocked behind the bond system, which makes the decoration all the more special. Highly recommended for those who love Hades, and any rogue-like games!
