Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Hacking game. Just hack those bastards and use deadly malware. Typing game with plenty of key pushing. Not the greatest in the bunch.
The dev is now engaged in scamming indie developers. Just play Uplink instead.
Rating: 8.7/10 Hacker Evolution is a unique hacking simulation that puts you in the role of a former intelligence agent investigating a global cyber crisis. Instead of relying on action, the game challenges players with command-line hacking, puzzle-solving, and logical thinking. While its interface can feel intimidating at first, it offers a rewarding experience for anyone interested in cybersecurity-themed games and strategic problem-solving.
Hacker Evolution is basically ‘IT class meets thriller movie.’ You spend hours staring at code, cracking passwords, and routing through networks, all while panicking because one wrong move and it’s game over. It’s tense, it’s satisfying, and it makes you feel like an actual hacker… until the firewall laughs at you and you rage-quit. 9/10 would lose my virtual life again.
A classic, no-frills hacking simulator from the genre's early days. It’s all about solving network puzzles through a terminal interface—typing commands, routing connections, and bypassing security. Feels authentic and challenging. Good: Deep, puzzle-like gameplay. Genuine hacker atmosphere. Good value for niche fans. Bad: Dated visuals & UI. Can feel repetitive. Steep learning curve.
Trying to hack the system feels like a cat in a mouse shop. Every command is a secret message and I m still searching for the button that opens the door to sweet victorious sleep.
