Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game isn't hard, but I feel like this version is much easier than the PS2 version I played back then. But at least I'm still having fun with this game.

This review is a bit biased since i was an old .//hack G.U. fan. Played this when i was a teenager and its very memorable. It was one of a means for me to 'experience' an mmo when at the time its pretty difficult to play one, so this is quite a pretty good substitude with 'live internet experience' both in and out of the game. While the overall story and the system in placeto simulate mmo and 'internet community' were pretty good, the combat can be clunky at times and getting better abilities takes a very long time. The game can be good for reminiscing but i can't really recommend it to people who just wants a solid action combat rpg even though it still better than in the previous series which is .//hack IMOQ. Still would recommend to try this game if you like a good JRPG.

All time favorite game, I've spent countless hours on the original version and plan to do the same here.
I LOVE PI!!!!!!!!!!!!
老实说游戏性其实不咋滴,但是剧情和BGM确实做到了精彩,古老的好游戏。
.hack//G.U. Last Recode is a thoughtfully remastered collection that brings together the acclaimed trilogy of action RPGs from the early 2000s, delivering an immersive dive into the cyber-themed universe of “The World.” For fans of narrative-driven games and those interested in the early roots of online RPG storytelling, this collection offers a rich, layered experience that combines a compelling story with engaging combat and intricate character development. The remaster does a solid job of modernizing visuals and controls, making the classic title more accessible to new players while still preserving the atmosphere that longtime fans cherish. The narrative is at the heart of Last Recode, continuing the tradition of deep, character-focused storytelling that the original series was known for. Players step into the shoes of Haseo, a determined and somewhat brooding protagonist on a quest to uncover the truth behind mysterious in-game events and his own tragic past. The game blends themes of friendship, identity, and the blurred lines between virtual and real worlds, weaving a story that unfolds across three distinct but interconnected episodes. The layered plot is compelling, with well-written dialogue and memorable character arcs that keep players invested throughout the lengthy campaign. Gameplay strikes a balance between traditional JRPG mechanics and more dynamic, action-oriented combat. The real-time battles are fluid and satisfying, requiring players to strategize using a combination of attacks, skills, and tactical positioning. The game introduces a unique “Avatar” system, allowing Haseo to switch between different fighting styles, which adds variety and depth to encounters. Character progression is robust, with skill trees and equipment upgrades that encourage experimentation and personalization. While some may find the combat less fast-paced than modern action RPGs, it maintains a rhythm that rewards both timing and tactical thinking. Visually, Last Recode benefits greatly from its remaster. The updated character models, refined textures, and improved lighting effects bring the world of “The World” to life in vibrant detail. While the core art style retains its early 2000s charm, the enhancements make the environments more immersive and the character animations smoother. The soundtrack, a blend of atmospheric and energetic tracks, complements the cyberpunk setting perfectly, enhancing both tense battles and quieter narrative moments. Voice acting is generally strong, helping to deepen emotional connections to the story and characters. One of the more impressive aspects of Last Recode is how it respects and expands the original trilogy’s content. In addition to the main story episodes, the remaster includes Rebirth, an additional chapter that wraps up lingering plot threads and provides closure to Haseo’s journey. This extra content is welcomed by fans who have followed the series, as it adds new layers to the story and gameplay without feeling tacked on. The collection also streamlines some quality-of-life improvements such as faster load times and better camera controls, addressing frustrations players had with the original releases. Despite its strengths, the game does have moments where its age shows. Some pacing issues linger, especially during the exploration and dungeon segments, which can feel repetitive or overly drawn out. The narrative’s focus on anime-style storytelling and occasional melodrama might not appeal to everyone, and the reliance on text-heavy exposition can slow down the momentum for players used to more streamlined storytelling. However, these aspects are part of the series’ identity and may even be a draw for those who appreciate classic JRPG sensibilities. In conclusion, .hack//G.U. Last Recode stands as a comprehensive and polished remaster that successfully introduces a classic JRPG trilogy to a modern audience. It combines a rich, emotionally engaging narrative with solid combat mechanics and updated visuals, delivering a nostalgic yet fresh experience. While it may not revolutionize the genre, it offers a meaningful journey for fans of story-driven games and cyberpunk aesthetics. For players interested in exploring the origins of narrative complexity in online RPGs or those seeking a thoughtful, character-driven adventure, Last Recode is a rewarding and memorable title.
