Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A classic! one of the best RPG with an amazing story and great plots! Can't wait to replay the .hack original saga.
I love/hate the dot hack games. The anime tropes are really annoying to me, but the idea of these games and their gameplay keeps me hooked. I can't even say the games are good, yet, I've replayed both series multiple times. I hope they remaster the first four games. Or just make a new series.
The gameplay and pacing are quite dated by now, but the aesthetics and sincerity shine through. The fake forum posts are awesome and make me nostalgic for a bygone era. Long live Blue Eyed Samurai
Pegar os volumes para jogar em sequência é um pouco cansativo, mas são ótimos jogos!
Story (6/10)
It’s on the interesting side. I liked how things like forum posts or news articles expand the world building. Lots of lore dump in a separate file (game selection screen), which I noticed when I have already completed all 4 games.
Graphics (4/10)
From character models to animations they look dated (since these are old games it's ok). Battle animations look a bit better in the 4th game.
Gameplay (4/10)
Dungeon design is monotonous and there are a lot of them. The battle system is ok, but feels a bit clunky.
Sound (5/10)
The normal battle theme is used way too often. A few good music pieces here and there.
Performance/Configuration/Settings (4/10)
Experienced screen tearing when moving the character (even with V-Sync on). I'm 99% sure this is not intended. Didn't hinder me to play the game. There are also no Steam Cloud saves. No sure, if the manual backup will work. Game crashed 3 ties in the Arena. [Misc] I like a certain character voice acting a lot (Atoli)
So I have been playing this game on and off for years, I've been the original 3 back when they came first came out back in early 2000's or so, (can't remember exact dates) and honestly I loved it then and I love it now, this is probably one of my first jrpg's besides the original .hack (still waiting on that remake Atlus) and also Final Fantasy. and I have come back to this one more than any other ones, I will admit sometimes it can be a slog but if you do the normal amount of leveling and work in the game, I honestly don't think it will be that difficult. and if you want to make it more difficult you can, I also love the extra quests although I hate the every person one (can't remember the name of it) but the others are quite fun, question is, is it worth 50-60$ honestly, yes you're getting easily 100 hours or more if you want to 100% it for all 4 games, and depending on when this game gets discounts. that means it's an even better deal.
