Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love this game so much, I bought it day one on playstation when it came out so I was happy to try it on here. As soon as I started a file in G.U vol 1, I was blindsided by lag and serious sluggish movements. The menuing was nearly impossible to tolerate with the slugish way it went to option to option and as soon as I could start moving was forced to watch Haseo move like the game was set in slow motion. I am dissapointed at how well this game ran on my gaming laptop and I'm heart broken at being unable to play a game from a franchise that I love
This game is a product of its time yes. However this game has predicted so much so long ago. Most of the NPCs act like how people act online, in servers and forms. I think that if you can understand that this game is an anime game and has a large over arching plot conected to various other works in the franchise you can enjoy it. I do reccomend this just know what you are getting into.
Excellent remaster and a good ending to the story
it's one of the best games i have ever played
これから始めるあなたへ一言 「Welcome to The world」
Gameplay still boring even with the damage buff. Random dungeons that feel quite pointless. Look at some other reviews. It really loves hyping up certain systems to be important and then undermining them in the next episode; if you spent a lot of time unlocking the unique weapons for each character then *man* are you going to be disappointed. I guess I should talk about the story. Aesthetically .hack//G.U. has that really particular Lain/GiTS/Digimon kinda turn-of-the-millenium chatroom paranoia vibe although on the cheerful side, which is good if you're into that. The near-future setting feels very plausible and is fleshed out by a generous quantity of supplementary lore. Haseo and Atoli are very well-conceived characters driven by certain neuroses. The issue is the plot and pacing. It has a lot of cool and memorable moments which I guess is what got me through it as a kid. Unfortunately "filler episodes" were still a thing when .hack//G.U. came out; there are three (3) tournament arcs and I dreaded each one; a lot of the time I literally felt 'could this conversation have been an email'; a lot of the filler quests concern some less-prominent character but fail to do anything but circumscribe their established traits (I already know Kuhn is a slut ffs). There is a point quite late in the plot (you'll know it when you see it) when the writers basically give up on making the plot dovetail w/ the characters' arcs in favor of an 'epic' conclusion. Like it's not like it 0% works but it's not good. It just comes out of left field, really. As for the new episode, it's kind of like a warm weighted blanket for people who enjoyed the original G.U. trilogy. It feels a lot like those Digimon specials actually. The gang gets together to solve one last problem in The World. I'm not sure you *really* need to replay the original trilogy to enjoy it, but it helps to know what happened. I thought it was pretty good, to the point where it's worth the cost of admission by itself.
