Amazing game, played it through multiple times now

If you like choose your own adventure and you have a place in your heart for Sharpes Rifles and Hornblower you will like this
I got this years ago and didn't play it until Lords (the sequel) came out. I'm glad I waited because I now can play the next game to find out what happens without waiting on anything. Guns is really good, a great followup to Sabres (the previous game), with more choices, reactivity, and branching. It can be a little hard to remember who is who, since there are many characters that appear, but it's a minor point. I highly recommend this, and make sure to play through Sabres first.
I actually found my heart rate picking up and breaking into involuntary smiles as I was playing, I would 100% recommend this game to any who consider themselves enjoyers of military fiction.
Better than the first one
Una continuación fenomenal que amplía sobre la ya gran base del primero (Sabres of Infinity). Solo está en Inglés, pero si sabés, recontra vale la pena. 10/10.

Love this as a sequel, it builds on SOI in a really believable way; my only issue is that while the choices are 'easier' so you don't have to guide-scum as much, they seem less transparent and impactful than the first (though from what I understand this is because I'm choosing to go this route and so it can build me into being an actual lord in the third game, so a necessary evil). Looking forward to Lords and shout out Lanzerel; my favourite moment of the series happened in the final battle of this game listening to Nuns sing Gregorian Chants.
