About
It's a weird time for fans of modern tank combat games. The straight-shooting simulator titles from the turn of the millennium are no more. As tank nerds, we need a game that gets right to the good stuff - modern tanks, realistic system and damage models, and a focus on fun over all.
With Gunner, HEAT, PC! we aim to make that dream a reality.
GHPC will blend game and simulation in just the right amounts, providing awesome fire control and ballistics simulation behind deceptively simple controls. This core feature set serves as the foundation for a rich single player campaign mode, skirmish missions, and (eventually) cooperative multiplayer modes: a satisfying option for every taste. And let's not forget about infantry and support units - tanks weren't built to fight alone. AI-controlled combined arms forces will round out the tactical environment and let armored units shine the way they were meant to.
We're making a great tank game because that's what we want to play.
GHPC features a fictional conflict between NATO and the Warsaw Pact in central Germany circa 1985. Play as armored units from the United States, Soviet Union, German Democratic Republic, and Federal Republic of Germany.

just a very shallow game once you get past the eye candy and the niche aiming mechanics. the game looks cool and has an interesting aesthetic, but the actual gameplay is unbelievably bad. AI will still shoot you through bushes from 1km away after a patch that supposedly fixed this, infantry missiles will track you over hilltops like top-attack javelins and you are seriously expected to engage helicopters with tank main guns. the AI, which is tied to your lose condition, will get torn apart if not babysitted to the point of pre-planning every single thing that they do. unfortunately, i paid for a tank tactics game, and not an RTS. a lot of small issues like this constantly pile up in every mission and make you question why you're even playing it in the first place. to be honest, this game sits in a deeply unsatisfying middle ground between a true simulator experience and something more arcade-y. it has most of the hassle of a sim with too little of the fun/goofy parts of a game. you're probably better off with one of the two extremes, and if you're good enough at tactics or ranging gunfire, you'd enjoy something like steel beasts or IL2 tank crew far more.

As it stands the game won't even take control changes in the options menu for a proportion of users. This has been reported and documented by several users on the bug tracker on github, myself included, to zero acknowledgement or 'It sounds like a you problem' responses. Instead we get fin shaped decals, 7.62 rounds that can de-track a whole platoon of Abrams and T-1000 skynet infantry that always hit from over a mile away bang on even when getting blown up by an HE round, woop. 4 years since release onto EA, paid full price and we don't even have basic stuff working. I'm sure the sycophants will have all sorts of excuses like "it's EA", "it's a single dev", "don't attack my game-waifu because WoT has abused me as a child". I personally draw the line at functioning menus, being able to assign controls or at a bare minimum acknowledging severe functional bugs when they're reported to you directly by paying customers. I mean, in 4 years it's not much to ask. Thumbs down until I see some improvement.
While the game is ultimately fine, the developers anti-modding position and refusal to support the Steam Workshop is indefensible and their attitude is patronising. I do not think they should be monetarily supported as a result.
I want multi Player but game fun Abrams go boom Russian tank space program the Commander is a nice guy
игра в разы лучше чем war thunder,советую тем кому хочется реализма
If you want to play cold war tanks, this is a good (better) alternative to War Thunder
Nothing more than an incomplete tech demo. M1 Tank Platoon from the 90s got it right first time. Plus fascist discussion forums.
The game is good,
rating this down due to developer bad manners, I guess living in his mom basement working on games for long time does effect his social & communication skills ! Not to mention the lack of logic
also probably due to living in mom's basement for long time
of being against cloud services for the reason of "no one own anything" and still posting the game on Steam were "no one own anything" and could be removed any moment or lost for ever if steam is no more, so go sell your game only on DVDs and CDs Mr. Logic.
NOT
sorry for you buddy, but asking normal questions politely with all respect shouldn't get you that triggered for no reasons, hope this rating get you triggered though
Devs that care. with the recent AI changes i can finally reccomend this game, if you ever wanted to play around with tanks this is THE game for you. accurate internals and ballistics, modeled FCS and optics, lots of controllable units to experiment with and now the AI enhancements. there is still a lot to do in terms of making the game feel alive and not like a shooting gallery or live-fire training range but so far its making very good progress. support these devs, they genuinely care about their game.
Very fun. Was surprised at how easy it was to pick up with little trouble. Tutorials are easy and concise and the game is very fun. Just needs MP and a mission editor now.
