About

GUG is a sandbox simulation roguelike where you generate monsters—”gugs”—by typing any word or phrase. Your choice of words determines how they look, behave and battle. Type “banana flamethrower” and you might get a spiky yellow pyromaniac. Type “emotional support gremlin” and get… Well, who really knows?
Every word wields unexpected power, so experiment and see what incredibly broken gugs you can concoct.

Each run throws you into a new procedurally generated arena—lava jungles, haunted car parks, algorithmic chaos pits—and challenges you to create a truly unpredictable squad of gugs. You will:
Adapt to randomised rules, enemy types and objectives
Tweak your team’s strategy to seize victory or fail gloriously
Unlock new modifiers, environments and gug abilities
Ask yourself why your tank explodes when it gets healed

Gugs don’t just look weird—they work weird, too. Each creature evolves both visually and logically.
Mix and match brains, attacks, movement styles and passives across different gugs
Use procedural logic systems to combine effects in strategic—or utterly unhinged—ways
Watch unexpected synergies emerge, then break them when your next bright idea goes disastrously wrong
Whether you’re a strategy min-maxer or an architect of chaos, GUG rewards curiosity and punishes overconfidence.

The GUGverse is shared. Gugs you make might show up in someone else’s game. Another player’s fearsome "Toilet Cactus" might just ruin your whole run—and appetite. Every new gug makes the game bigger and more unpredictable for everyone.
Encounter gugs made by other players
Upload and share your best/worst creations
Join regular challenges and gug hunt bounties
Break the meta or break the game—we welcome both

This isn’t a card game. It’s not your standard autobattler. It’s not a serious roguelike. GUG is GUG: a creature collector where the gugs are ludicrous, the logic is real, and your new arch-nemesis might be “Mildly Upset Pigeon”.

El juego aún necesita reparaciones pero el concepto es atrapante, espero sigan trabajando en el proyecto.
So many bugs, repetitive, very little game content, unnecessarily long animations, unnecessary time charges, high CPU consumption, bad descriptions and explanations. I played the complete game, but it feels like a demo.
The total version is worse than the demo and the dev lie about making maj to fix bug, You sould run away from that game
games too broken for any type of gameplay. you have to tab out for the game to even run smoothly, but that means you can't play it while tabbed in...
Many previewed effects are useless or ineffective. Designs don't have any logic, sometimes keeping the same sprite despite a merge between two differents pets. Oh, and dead game BTW.... Run
This is so weird. you type things to create gugs and they can be anywhere from s-z rank. some are unplayable, some are so broken like compoundintrest gave me a gug that adds your current coins to your coins every turn the game litieral gives up keeping track of your coins and lists it as !!!, if only I could figure out a gug to combo with this. also the gugs are broken ocassionaly I made a gug crate new pool slots so I could hold more gugs and it broke the slots adding infinite only 5 are funtional and my gugs are off screan. the menu has a few icons. 1 change background/ this could be improved because you click it and it cycles through your unlocked backgrounds, I would like to view my backgrounds and not have to cycle through them. 2. gug shadow, changes the highlighted area, 3 gug free roam, the gugs in your garden roam or stand in lines based on how many slots you've unlocked 4 tower thing (??? I don't know what this does) 5. C icon (??? don't know what this does) the wilds (How many rounds is there in this or is it endless? 12 current highest), custom (You type themes and play the wilds but with set themes and only 3 rounds/areas) anotomic pool (You can summon as many gugs as you want to play around to build a deck before you go into wilds) to be made( ??? thats cool?) gug dex (shows you gugs and their phrases, doesn't seem to show other peoples gug phrases I'm really curious what phrase made the op gug that triples it's health and attack every turn) (Continue run is mysterious and off to the side) the ai seems to be really hit or miss it sometimes generates multiple outcomes before settling on one, and ocassionaly fails to set one and you have to try again.

Nope. La démo était beaucoup mieux. Même avec une promo, ça reste du vol. 1 an plus tard, aucune mise à jour, le jeu semble totalement abandonné.
