Great homage to a classic but 1 ups it in every way!
Oh man, this is probably inspired by Burgertime, but very different. I love the special stages. Hidden gem!! Great job with this one devs. Full controller support. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLpmBA_ll-I&ab_channel=HiddenGemsIndieRetroGamer
This is the most fun I have had with an indie game in a long time! This is a must-buy! The only things I would like to see are some additional graphic options for resolution and a proper exit for the game in the menu instead of F1.
I used to hold the Guinness World Record on the emulated version of BurgerTime, so I know that game very well, and it's awesome to see this one represent that game very well! Some little quirks that I know are being worked on, such as a way to escape easier; also, right now, I can't rebind my 8Bit Do controller settings, but the normal settings work fine. Great game, though! Excited to see more from this developer!
Super fun arcade action game! Loved it!
The first thing I'd like to mention is that I've been playing Monster Bath's games, and have had online interactions with the developer, for years at this point; however, I did pay for this game and would do it again! History aside, this is a great arcade game. I'm not much of an arcade game person - they've often felt repetitive, too difficult, or just boring, in my opinion. However, few have stood out to change my mind on the genre - Guard Grave being one of them. The challenge scales perfectly as the levels progress and the game keeps the environments fresh and fun. You'll hammer, stun, dodge, and trick your enemies in new and satisfying ways as the levels become more complex and fast-paced. If you're even a little bit on the fence about this one, just go for it - you'll be glad you did.
