Prices

Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

very fun and interesting, needs you to actually think and strategise compared to most other shooters where you can run and gun your way through levels

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really wanted to like GTFO. The atmosphere is tense, the sound design is genuinely creepy, and the concept of a hardcore, teamwork-dependent shooter is appealing. But after putting in over 20 hours with a dedicated group of friends, I can confidently say this game is more frustrating than fun—and not for the reasons the developers intended. Here’s why I’m giving this a negative review: 1. The Difficulty Is Artificial, Not Rewarding Yes, I knew going in that this was supposed to be “hardcore.” But there’s a fine line between challenging and punishing for the sake of it. Enemies are bullet sponges, stealth mechanics are inconsistent (one wrong footstep and you’re swarmed), and the alarm sequences force you into repetitive, tedious combat that feels more like a chore than a test of skill. The difficulty doesn’t feel smart—it feels cheap. 2. The RNG Can Ruin Runs Instantly Nothing kills the mood like spending 30 minutes carefully sneaking through a level, only to have a random enemy patrol pathing glitch out or a door alarm spawning a horde right on top of you with zero warning. The procedural generation doesn’t add replayability—it adds frustration. You’re not losing because you played badly; you’re losing because the game decided you should. 3. Unforgiving to the Point of Exclusion This game demands 100% coordination, 100% of the time. That sounds great on paper, but in practice, it means one mistake—one missed shot, one accidental sprint—wipes the whole squad. There’s no room for learning, no room for experimentation. You either execute the “correct” strategy perfectly or you restart. For a game that takes 45–90 minutes per run, that’s not respect for my time—it’s disrespect. 4. The Progression System Is a Joke Unlocking new weapons and gear takes forever, and even when you do, they don’t feel impactful. The difference between a starter weapon and an endgame one is marginal at best. The grind isn’t satisfying; it’s just a time-sink to mask the lack of meaningful content. 5. Technical Issues Galore In 2026, I expect better. I’ve experienced random disconnects, desync issues where enemies hit me from across the room, and frame drops during heavy combat—even on a high-end PC. The UI is clunky, the matchmaking is barren (good luck finding a group if your friends aren’t online), and the ping system is woefully inadequate for a game that requires so much communication. 6. The Community Is Dying And I understand why. The player base is shrinking fast, and the remaining players are either elitists who kick you for not knowing every map layout or people who are just as burnt out as I am. The game’s design actively pushes away new players, and the lack of any real tutorial or onboarding is inexcusable for a title this complex. Final Verdict: GTFO is a game that mistakes cruelty for challenge. It’s not rewarding—it’s exhausting. It’s not intense—it’s tedious. If you have three other friends who are willing to treat this like a second job, maybe you’ll find some enjoyment. For everyone else, save your money and your sanity. There are far better co-op shooters out there that actually respect your time and effort. Rating: 4/10 – Do not recommend.
