GRIS

For once I decided to look for a single player game I've been in the mood for some me time and picked a random game from my library that game was Gris. The game's plot is relatively simple. You play as a girl named Gris who's parental figure has died. You are sucked into darkness and go thru the 5 stages of grief. The game doesn't explicitly tell you this but it gives you context clues thru gameplay and cutscenes. The game play is pretty straightforward it's a 2D side scroller platformer with some easy to medium problem solving. This game will not test you you physically cannot die. But given that the game is more of an emotional piece it's perfectly fine and still fun to play with some collectibles in there for trophy chasers. By the end of each stage you get a new color which is the perfect metaphor of going thru grief each level has their own unique colors and themes and the music is very calming. The art direction in this game is spectacular and one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. Overall this was a very calming and atmospheric game and I'm very glad I got to play it. It sucks that I'll get no replay value but considering it's $15 price tag I can't complain. This is a perfect example of how video games are a true form of art. 8/10

Je ne l'ai malheureusement pas fini à 100% mais le gameplay qu'offre ce jeu pour les joueurs casuals comme moi couplé avec une B.O. et un visuel d'une beauté indescriptible, ce jeu indépendant mérite d'avoir en moi une place comme l'un des plus beau jeu que j'ai joué jusqu'à aujourd'hui.
