Late to the party but after getting frustrated and or bored with other ARPGs I decided to give Grim Dawn a shot. The base game is out dated and the DLCs don't get too much better but if you liked the old Diablo games you will probably like this one. PROS: - OFFLINE!!!!! HELL YEA! Live service can eat my shorts! 10,000 DKP plus! 10/10 - Can create fun and interesting builds - Most people will like that it has a few different difficulty modes to choose from CONS: - Dated graphics and the interface is archaic (I heard the DLC Fangs of Asterkarn may fix that when it releases later this month) - Builds can get confusing and difficult to follow when you try to use online guides since most of it is designed as if it were still 2005. - Not very noob friendly, most information you find online is for max level hardcore players not for little old noobs just jumping in. - The map is WAY too small because the outdated UI doesn't scale properly. I play on a 1440 monitor and when you scale up the UI in the options only the buttons and quests scale up, the pop ups for achievs and some other things don't scale up. I don't need my button bar scaled up, I need the writing scaled up so I can read it! YARGH! - The gear is really REALLY ugly. I know, I know, post apocalyptic yada yada, I don't care! Needs some goonin gear for chicks and some he-man gear for dudes, it's a damn fantasy game! - Only a minor gripe but at base cost, it's too expensive for how old the game is, how dated the graphics and UI are, not fully voiced (though more than I expected is) so buy it on sale. That said, even at full price, price per hour value is VERY good with this one, if you like it enough to play it through at least once. - It's not entirely clear what gear is good for. "Oh those are vitality druid pants right there." ok... what makes them vitality druid pants? I'll put a nice new shiny piece of gear on to replace my item I've had on for 30 levels and my dps and health (for example) go down with the new hear but I have no idea why. Goes back to the "not noob friendly" part earlier I guess. OTHER NOTES: - The game has some minor bugs I have not been able to nail down; ----Unsure if it's a proton issue or a game coding issue. The sound randomly cuts out but starts right back up a few seconds later. ----After playing a total of 100 hours I've had 2 freezes where it freezes steam and the game. 5-6 game crash to desktop where I can start it right back up. - Perhaps it's due to not reading enough of the quest dialogue but I don't really get the story, I'm a big fan of story and I wish I could grasp whats going on here... but I will keep slashing away and enjoy myself.

Recomendo demais!
