This dlc stink d*ck. Absolute horrible pacing during the new campaign that force you too go play the two other DLCs right before the final boss of this one, which completly kill the momentum. Quests are confusing as hell, i've never had problem to find where to go in Grim Dawn, level design was pretty much always guiding you to the right area if you were just exploring a bit. In this expansion, i've been lost on were to go, and what was the next story quest more than once. Finding the NPCs to finish a quest in this ginormous map when you can't see them on your map if you're not 10m away is so fun, thank you (especially in the dlc main hub in which there is like 40 npc icons). Anyway, the list goes on. I don't know what happened Crate, but ♥♥♥♥, this DLCs is insufferable.

positive critical· bar length = how often the theme comes up
- level design passable - quest design nul (on est perdu et on perd son temps) - crafting nul à chier (systématiquement désavantageux) - taux de drop inadapté bref aucun plaisir, dommage j'avais adoré à l'époque
It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AMAZING, made an already fantastic game go from 10/10 to 12/10.
F*** the nay sayers. This expansion is incredible. Are there some weaker points to the story? Sure. But the new class and new areas are fun. Coming from a veteran arpg fan from Titan Quest to Diablo 1 and 2 to Path of Exile 1 and 2 This is easily one of my favorites up there with Diablo 2. Oh did I mention the new class rocks? Also price point is more than fair considering the amount of new content.
A worthy addition to one of the best ARPGs. It's not perfect though. Narratively feels a bit thin and simple, and the pacing is weird where a substantial portion of the time spent in the main quest is just the initial part where you have to get to the town, which lasts for several large areas and feels too long. After that the questing gets a bit more interesting but still not quite as good as the other DLCs. The new class is very fun; it's built around crit/bleed/cold/chaos but as always there are tons of conversion options that allow you to combo it with all the other classes. Haven't played werewolf yet but wereraven feels very strong and is one of the best/fastest leveling options in the game. The new onslaught mechanic is incredibly powerful and gives you tons of new build options, where your default attack replacers will massively power up your cooldown nukes. Overall, the quest content is a bit disappointing, but the new mastery and additions to itemization and endgame make it worth getting.
This DLC is great.
good
The gameplay/difficulty changes seems very contended, so this is another updoot in favour of it for the discourse. Been playing Grim Dawn on and off ever since release (I think, it's been a while.), and it has always been one of my fave goto ARPGs over the years. This dlc doesn't change that for me, personally, but I do understand the frustration from others. Having to play the game fundamentally different, having builds invalidated etc. It is a bit of a mixed bag; the difficulty increase has led to some excruciatingly eggplant-flattening moments, but overall I feel the game is fine. The dlc adds a lot of new content, and the new class feels very fun to play. The altar giving players the power to target farm is a very nice addition, I just wish we could see the actual percentages instead of having to guess how much a X% increase to tempest totem spawn-rate is.
Если честно, то не очень. Огромные локации, много беготни туда сюда, оптимизация ужасная. Система крафта сделана крайне неудачно. Из плюсов музыка, она реально хороша)
