What can I say, this is your average fantasy RPG. It's my favorite type of game so it was just right for me. There isn't anything to overly complicated about it. If you enjoy bog standard RPGs then this game is just right for you after a nice sale. The world is very beautiful, the story is decent along with the side characters although there is no romance sadly. Sadly, it does tend to have a number of fetch quests and constantly reuses assets. Unfortunately the sequel changed its combat style entirely which is a real shame since I probably won't play it then. What I enjoyed the most of it was the language they made for the game which was really well done. Altogether an ordinary RPG worth playing for RPG players looking for a fun and simple game.
The Gameplay Of The Game Was Not So Good At All , I Don't Know About The Story Of The Game But The Most Important Part In Any Game There Was A Mechanics Of Movement,, That Was Not Soo Good Even You Can't Jump 😭😭 The Mechanics Was Soo Basic Overall I Can Say You Can Get This Game For A Average RPG Game This Game Is Not That Bad At All But This Game Needs For Improvements I Can Rate This Game 4.5/10 For Cheap Price Go For It If U Like RPG Games Otherwise Don't Go For It It's Totally Depends On U Which Catagory U like 👍
About 50 hours of playtime for me including all the side quests (except for the professor notes). The story is well played out but somewhat predictable. The voice acting is fairly good except for the native strange accents (which grated on me a bit). The graphics are very nice but you can definitely see the reuse of assets and buildings. I turned down the music as it was just standard issue. Sound effects match well with the actions. Gameplay is fairly straight forward and combat is not too difficult. I must say that firearms and tossing potions are way overpowered. I enjoyed most of the game but towards the end it felt a little bit dragged out. There is a bit too much back and forth even with the help of fast travel. I didn't get the very best ending, but the second best as I couldn't get the coin faction to be friendly. Get it on sale or part of a bundle and enjoy a semi-open world full of intrigue and politics.
the color is soooo gud
Just like the lands of Tír Fradí, Greedfall had a lot of potential... but didn't necessarily survive the landing. The atmosphere and aesthetics of the game are commendable, doing a great job at immersing you in its world and story, regardless of the "melting pot" feel. The stakes are enticing, and with time you'll find yourself intrigued by the events occurring in this magical land. However, that intrigue will eventually lead to disappointment more often than not. An RPG that places importance in its companions should reward you or at least have them engage with the immediate story a lot more often; I found myself no longer changing through them since most, regardless of faction allegiance, would not engage with what NPCs were saying. At crucial, pivotal moments in the story, there was an absence of engagement all together, with romance being particularly lacklustre. The lack of polish overall became clearer the further you delved into the plot, with subtitle typos, lines being chopped and reworded or even repeated! Invisible walls were often used as a way to stop you from reaching certain areas, yet objects had either massive hitboxes halting your sprint or you could walk right through them. The constant travelling and inconsistent fade-to-black teleporting made exploration and questing at times a chore. Some voice acting was particularly impressive, with Constantin and Síora being the most notable; however, there is a reason why the "fight start" companion barks are a meme. Given how often you dip in and out of combat, you will know Vasco and Kurt's iconic lines by heart. Yet there is a need to point something out. It's an achievement. Any finished game is, and Greedfall is no different. It does try to do some very important commentary, even if it only manages to negligibly scratch the surface. The worldbuilding and level design is beautiful, and I dare say, memorable. I very much still recommend it, regardless or perhaps because of its flaws: it deserves the recognition for aspiring to reach the mountain heights that it dreamed, regardless of it stopping, exhaustingly, halfway to the peak.
Just...wow. This game was amazing, truly. From the moment I started playing, up until the very end this was a fantastic experience! The griping story, the diversity in types of missions and activities, the companion and reputation system, not to mention what is probably the most systemic and varying leveling system I have ever seen in a game. And beyond that, the details! Every little thing from some random side mission connected back to the main story or some character you'd see lurking in the background of a cutscene! All in all, an arguably short experience, but a masterful one, and the first RPG I've genuinely loved in a long time.
