Is just a poorly realized skeleton of an interesting concept for a sound generator. Needs many more parameters to manipulate each sound (backward sound, noise, filters). Needs more sound triggers, not just a ball, but fluids and sands with changeable parameters. Needs more sound shapes, not just a rectangle, but custom shapes with live deformation. Needs basic general sound parameter, latency, etc.
I got a copy of this for free, from the developer, to my curator page (The Best: Music Driven Games ♫). Although it doesn't fit the genre I review on the page, I will still give it a personal review.
This is definitely not something I would buy myself, not because it’s bad, but rather because it’s just not my thing and I wouldn’t think to look for it. With that said, it’s only 79 pence and I can imagine that people a little more musically gifted than me could have some fun with this. I can imagine that the people who are patient enough to make those marble physics courses and maps on games like happy wheels are type of people who will get the most out of this. For me, I’m just terrible at these things; I can’t get much out of it because I just don’t have the patience to trial and error it. I can imagine this is fun for those who can use it, but it’s not something I can use myself and sink some time into. I noticed that you can add in voice recordings with your mic, which I thought was pretty fun, and you can drag the clip inward/outward to make it lower/slower or higher/faster. There is a fair few features that adds variety to the mixer and you can save/load your creations so I’m guessing you could even share the files with other people. Overall, it’s simple but it’s a nice little music sandbox which I would say is worth the mere 79p price tag.
пострадать можно, не вижу смысла в программе, как в софте для создания музыки. Но вот отдохнуть любителям вполне можно
Easy to use & simple Music maker that is very cheap I don't know why some people hate it ? it is actually easy to use
I like the idea but... - How do I change the sample volume? What I can found is that 1, 2, 3, 4 square with a slider on each of them which adjust the volume of all the samples. What I want is to change it on each sample not all of them at once. - So many samples have click/pop at the end - What is that metronome? 2/4 only? A kick and a snare sound? Is that how metronome sound/works? - Is there a way to change gravity speed?
GraviSound costs less than 100g of American processed cheese or 5 eggs, yet still not enough to make a cake out of it, instead you just sit there like a toddler in a very small sandpit, fiddling around with the plastic molds for a few hours, until your parents (your conscious mind) get you out of this hole again. Can recommend the game to people who are interested in audio productions with a certain curiosity in those things and nothing else to do, but don't expect too much, it's all very simple.
This is an extremely simple idea but I quite liked messing with it.. why? Answer:- because you can add your own samples..and because its extremely cheap. just look for the audio folder in the program directory and add a folder of your own with your .wav and .mp3 samples. Then its just a matter of dragging and dropping them onto the screen, and attempting to create a path for the ball. Stretching or compressing the sample boxes speeds up or slows down the samples playing speed, and the double chevron launches the ball at speed. You can create quite complex paths for the balls travel and keep it in motion for a long time if you`re careful. It doesn`t serve any purpose, its not really a game or a useful sound tool, its just a simple sandbox, but it CAN be fun, and its cheap.
