About
Granvir: Zero Front is a third person shooter action roguelite featuring mech building. Experience the prelude to the Millennium Horizon campaign in Granvir as the first resistance response to the Millenium Company invasion. Players battle through a route of their choice reaching extraction and completing side objectives at the cost of valuable resources. Between battles, players can swap out parts for upgrades found on the battlefield and manage their campaign by taking on loans to afford ammunition, aiding the locals for support in battle and more.

Equip devastating melee weapons such as swords, rocket spears and pile bunkers. Wield powerful long range guns like cannons, machine guns, flamethrowers and rocket pods. Mix and match armaments to suit your play style.

Mix torsos, legs, armatures and special modules to customize your Granvir. Defeating enemy ace pilots unlocks their unique parts.

Complete any campaign in single-player or multiplayer co-op with up to 10 Granvir pilots at a time. Share parts and resources utilizing the squad depot in rest areas as you plan your next moves.

No campaign is the same as you manage time, resources and your route to each objective. Each zone impacts what services and resources are available. Use down time between missions to refit and upgrade your Granvir to prevail.

You should keep in mind that this game is basically just a demo, the real game is titled simply as "Granvir". Despite this, Zero Front is an awesome campaign. Simple yet replayable. There is a significant amount of trinkets and bits to switch in and out for the build you want. And this game is pretty small in terms of pc requirements. In terms of story, it is a pretty simply plot. Though that is because you are limited to only one campaign in this game; Zero Front. (Oh wow sounds familiar). The actual game is around 12 quid, though I'd probably reccomend you to try and get it on sale. Overall, if you're looking something quick and simple to play, this might be for you. It is free after all, so not like you're losing anything.
Battletech but the company making it isn't Evil or Dumb

Game is good, though the UI is funky as all heck Maybe instead of having multiple options, the developer could consolidate them into appropriate groups Something like these three: - Mech By selecting Mech, only then will the player see the Modify Granvir, Granvir Controls, Tune-Up Granvir (which may open a drop-down list of factions which offer said tune-up), etc. - Manage Resources By selecting Resources, only then will the Inventory, Squad Inventory, as well as the "Requisitions" options for calling in caches can be accessed here - Field Work By selecting Field Work, the player is given options regarding their Presence (i.e. the "Lay Low" feature), interacting with the locals in the area (i.e. Groundbreaker/Resistance/
[strike]Mysterious Contact[/strike]
Specific Outpost Activities) Something like this could potentially minimize the amount of screen clutter the UI currently barfs out to every player upon starting a campaign Besides this, good gaem 8/10 "UI needs some work, lol"
This is basically a trial of the full game. I was skeptical about the main game, so naturally I tried this out. 100% convinced me to buy the full game! The parts are varied (1h vs 2h melee and ranged weapons of all sorts) hotkeys are easily customizable, and the variety of parts is pretty great. Exactly what I've been looking for in a mech game that none others seem to be able to deliver well!
I larped as a roman soldier with a spear and shield, but the spear was rocket propelled and would come back to me. 10/10 this ♥♥♥♥ is gas
Free 10 player coop roguelike? Heck yes. Mecha first and third person with modules? Sign us up. Linux-native client?!!??!?!?!? YEEEEEES
Seems chill. Definitely in development, nothing broke so far, which means it only gets better. Difficulty is customizable along with drop rates.
Super neat demo that showcases everything there is to playing the game within the demo campaign. Enjoyed it a lot and I hope the full game has more mission types and much longer campaigns.
The nicest thing I can say is that this "demo" saved me the money I wouldve wasted on the game.
This is a 3rd person shooter game, where you pilot a Mech (big robot-like mechanical construct) and shoot at enemies. Extremely simplified game-play, makes this game not something I will further investigate, add that to the incredibly simple graphics, as well as game-mechanics, and you have what has to be something that they should really work on, before considering launching it as a fully published game.
